This is a nice place to go for a quick little meal. It has high ratings and was close to the place we were staying. Plus it was open after tourist season. We arrived around 8 on a holiday Monday morning in November. The only customers were a handful of older men at the counter with their newspaper and cheerful banter. 2-3 employees were working the floor and sitting down at a booth to chat with one another or do a crossword between orders. Larry's PX gives you exactly what you'd expect from a casual diner, in the best way. The biggest bonus, in my book, is that they won't rush you off the table. You can actually spend time catching up with a friend here. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Overall a very nice experience and I would definitely go back. It was busy and I think maybe the staff was a bit overwhelmed. They got my order wrong but it was rectified rather quickly and the breakfast was delicious.
