For the 3rd year in a row Lily's Diner was our go to breakfast place for our winter mini Cape Cod Vacation! The food is excellent, atmosphere is old charm. Definitely request the cinnamon raisin toast plain or as French Toast.

Finally found a location that turned the analogy into a truism. After researching on Trip Advisor for a well ranked diner offering a brunch menu, we plumped for Lilly’s Diner and made the effort to park and walk to the venue, arriving at 12:00 on a Saturday. On the door the hours read 07:00-2:00 but when we entered one of the servers quite rudely barked at us that they were closed - as if we should have known better. Nothing in any way apologetic about the tone - they made us feel less than an inch tall and we left with our tail between our legs. An eatery with a lunch menu that closes at 12:00 on a Saturday - really? Seems more than a little suspect . Obviously, can’t tell you what the food was like but it would have to be fantastic to justify the prices on the menu displayed outside - many items seemed more expensive than the Wild Goose across the road, which seems like a far classier, more comfortable environment than had struck me about Lilly’s Diner from the brief time we had ventured past the threshold. They say it’s an “I’ll wind that blows no good”, so maybe the ridiculously early closing was to our benefit after all….
Great food and great atmosphere.

LOVE this place. It’s a very laid back atmosphere, seat yourself…this is probably the best breakfast food I’ve ever had on cape cod. It’s fresh, old fashion style good old breakfast !!

Very disappointing. The server was friendly….the food was terrible. Meatball sub was bland, flavorless dry and was covered with soggy long onions.
Good breakfast joint - fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, good eggs and bread. The smashed potatoes were really tasty too (great seasoning)!

Enjoyed my annual visit. Greeted by the friendly staff.Another customer recommended the homemade hash. He was in for the second consecutive day for it. I didn't try it, but he raved.

My usual at Lily's is the meatloaf (because it's fantastic), but I had the pork tenderloin tonight which was equally delicious. My wife had the chicken parmesian, half of which came home with us so she could save room for some cheesecake. This is an excellent place to get a hearty, home cooked meal.
Great breakfast and service. Prices are comparable to the area.
