I tend to be very picky about bakeries. I do not like the artificial fatty film that many pastries leave in the mouth. Additionally, I want a flaky, tender, and delicious pie crust that is heavily filled. That said, Marion's does not disappoint. We have been going to Marion's for years when we visit the Cape and always enjoy our purchases. As others have indicated, the shop can get VERY busy during high season. The staff is friendly, helpful and efficient despite the chaos. We love all the "berry" pies-Bumbleberry, Razzleberry & Baileyberry and the Cran Peach Praline is delicious! Truly you cannot go wrong, just work your way down the menu. The only savory pie we have tried was the Hamburger and it was a hit. They have loads of comfort foods as well, so you do not have to slave away in the kitchen on vacation or in life. The breads are great to have on hand for a quick breakfast and the 7 Layer Bars and Pecan Squares are a wonderful afternoon pick me up.

Ordered a fantastic lemon meringue pie for Thanksgiving and it was excellent. The crust was firm, yet flaky. Will definitely be ordering pies from this bakery from now on.

Stopped by for something for breakfast on our way to Plymouth and stopped by on our way back for pie because our ham/cheese croissants were so good.
Everything we had was so delicious! We loved the smaller pies. They are perfect for visitors not wanting to have to eat a large pie during a short stay in the area. We got a Dutch apple and couldn't stop eating it.

Great pie! We tried the bumbleberry and it was perfect. Not too sweet and not too tart. It's a great mix of apple, blackberry, raspberry, and rhubarb. It's just a small shop but they were quite busy on a holiday weekend. Still the line was quick and we got a fresh pie. If you go early you'll be able to get the best selections. They also have an outdoor seating area and other pastry options.

Their pies, sweet and savory are first rate. The crust is very flaky, what my grandmother referred to as a “short” crust, and the fillings are moist, rich and flavorful. Chef’s kiss perfect. Their customer service is gold standard. I discovered an error on a recent order so I called the store to ask what could be done as I was 40 minutes away. I would have been satisfied with a refund, but instead the shop arranged for the corrected order TO BE DELIVERED to me. This world class commitment to their customers satisfaction is rare today. The good news is, I get to support them by ordering their delicious pies over and over. Kudos to Marion’s!,
