Everything was fantastic as usual. Food, service and atmosphere all at a very reasonable price. Our go to place!

We had a great first experience at Pate's. We reserved a high top and were very happy we did because we were able to watch the football game (wasn't expecting to be able to watch football at such a nice place!). We had to wait a few minutes for the previous party to leave and table to get bussed, which we did not mind at all. We grabbed a drink at the bar and the staff was very apologetic for the wait. Excellent and caring service team! The food was all delicious, came out quickly, and was very reasonably priced. The portion sizes were spot on as well, not too much or too little. We got oysters, burrata salad, statler chicken, and swordfish. We were comfortably full, but too full for dessert even though the snowball looked awesome. Great ambience, energetic and romantic. We will definitely be back for a future date night!

Pate's is back. They had a few hiccups with their new chef but they have figured it all out. New menu is fabulous. Service is great and the food was excellent!

They need to prepare better for a busy night in winter. Many things went wrong, and it was busy but should be prepared for that. Server was great. We went in the Summer and it was great.

Have been going to Pates since they opened a few years ago. Unfortunately, they have changed chefs and since then the quality of the food is not the same. Servers, bartenders, front of house -- all the workers are great: welcoming and professional. We've eaten there a few times since change of chef and it's a real mixed bag. The crab cake is now less crab more filling. The roasted scallops with gnocchi is not something I would order again as the gnocchi were very salty and only one of the scallops was tender, the others over cooked. I'm really very disappointed in quality of food and its inconsistency. The dishes sound great on the menu, but the execution of food is lacking.

Hannah was our server and she was terrific. I will go back over and over for those tuna cones, I would have them as an entrée if I could! But I had the tuna entrée which was delicious as always.

My wife and I live in Wellfleet (about 45 minutes away). This restaurant had not been on our radar and our first visit was this past spring. We have been back and decided to have Thanksgiving Dinner there. We arrived at 4 PM and out high top table was ready. They were serving their regular menu and a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. Both my wife and I opted for the traditional turkey dinner. The dinners arrived shortly after we ordered and the entire meal: turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans were fantastic! Go to Pate's - you won't be disappointed! PS. Our server - Layla - was awesome. And, the bartenders have a great sense of humor! Great job Pate's!!!

First Thanksgiving in 29 years without family-So-decided for a two-day stint in Orleans and picked Pates for Thanksgiving! Krista was a great ambassador and the experience was excellent!

My husband and I had dinner here last night and it was fabulous! I had the duck breast which was cooked to perfection. So tender and delicious. My husband had the short rib and he said it was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was friendly, helpful and always had a smile on her face. She didn't hover but was always available. We will definitely add Pate's to our favorites list!

I had not been to this restaurant for quite awhile and was delighted by the new decor, wonderful staff and especially, excellent seafood offerings. Two of us had an exceptional swordfish dish and a third was equally happy with her salmon dish. All three were great upgrades, both in creativity and quality, from past meals we have had here. Our waitperson could not have been more efficient, energetic and professional (and her sharp sense of humor was an added bonus!). Congrats to then”new” Pates, which now has been added to our priority Chatham restaurants, a special group in a town that has seen a great uptick in quality dining in recent years.
