My wife and I live in Wellfleet (about 45 minutes away). This restaurant had not been on our radar and our first visit was this past spring. We have been back and decided to have Thanksgiving Dinner there. We arrived at 4 PM and out high top table was ready. They were serving their regular menu and a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. Both my wife and I opted for the traditional turkey dinner. The dinners arrived shortly after we ordered and the entire meal: turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans were fantastic! Go to Pate's - you won't be disappointed! PS. Our server - Layla - was awesome. And, the bartenders have a great sense of humor! Great job Pate's!!!

First Thanksgiving in 29 years without family-So-decided for a two-day stint in Orleans and picked Pates for Thanksgiving! Krista was a great ambassador and the experience was excellent!

My husband and I had dinner here last night and it was fabulous! I had the duck breast which was cooked to perfection. So tender and delicious. My husband had the short rib and he said it was absolutely delicious. Our waitress was friendly, helpful and always had a smile on her face. She didn't hover but was always available. We will definitely add Pate's to our favorites list!

We had dinner here last weekend and had an amazing time. This week some of the food was not the same....very disappointing.....the server was outstanding which helped.

I had not been to this restaurant for quite awhile and was delighted by the new decor, wonderful staff and especially, excellent seafood offerings. Two of us had an exceptional swordfish dish and a third was equally happy with her salmon dish. All three were great upgrades, both in creativity and quality, from past meals we have had here. Our waitperson could not have been more efficient, energetic and professional (and her sharp sense of humor was an added bonus!). Congrats to then”new” Pates, which now has been added to our priority Chatham restaurants, a special group in a town that has seen a great uptick in quality dining in recent years.

We had 3 people at our table and we were celebrating my 14 year wedding anniversary with another friend. We had the pasta with clams, prime rib special and sword fish. I was all amazing and we did not have dessert by our waitress did bring us over some whip cream and fresh fruit which was so nice of her. I'm sorry I do not remember her name but was was fairly new and she was wonderful, she had a great attitude, attentive, and was so pleasant! She made the experience along with everything else. We have been coming here for a few years now and I can honestly say that there where times it wasn't an enjoyable experience but this was one of the good ones, thank you!

Always a great meal at Pates. We started with the tuna cones which is always a must , we split a wedge salad (they have the best) and we both had the ribeye special which was delicious. No room for dessert. Missed the Korean broccoli though which is no longer on the menu. Service was wonderful and our waitress was attentive, friendly and kind

The fish and chips are outstanding!!!! Heather our waitress was phenomenal. I recommend Pates for a nice quiet evening with awesome food!

I had the porcheta which was average at best My spouse had the steak special which was pretty good.The vodka martini ( Kettal one )was &13 plus $4 for the ex dry vermouth which I thought was high The crème brûlée was awful the custard was soupy and the torched sugar was virtually non existent

Drinks and apps were creative and tasty...the beet salad was a piece of art.....so nicely plated. The shrimp cocktail had 5 huge shrimp. A flat iron steak was very good, as was the potato encrusted cod.
