I wanted to give a shout out to our waitress, Nadeen, at Sacred Cod Tavern. The place was slammed. Regardless, our server, Nadeen, went over and above what was expected. Even though the tavern was extremely crowded and Nadeen was obviously quite busy, she timed drinks, meal, check and take out perfectly. We asked that we get a take out order to arrive about 5 minutes before we were done with our meals. I don’t know how she did it, but her timing was perfect. It was like she knew when we were done with drinks, and appeared asking if we wanted a refill and then after meal was served, she appeared again making sure that everything was ok. After our meal she perfectly timed our take out order as we requested. The finishing touch, going over and above, was making sure ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise and salt was included in the bag, along with silverware. She was meticulous with everything. She was polite, professional and knowledgeable. We asked questions about different dishes and she knew her stuff. She never acted rushed though clearly she was juggling many tables. Nadeen is the consummate server and Chatham Bars Inn and Sacred Cod Tavern is very lucky to have her. I hope she’s always my waitress. Thank you !

The Chatham Bars Inn is such a beautiful hotel with a few different restaurants. There’s free valet parking. The staff provides a high level of service here. The Sacred Cod has a large menu with relatively reasonable prices.
The Parker House Rolls came with truffle butter that gives a savory flavor profile. The crab cake sandwich is a really neat idea that comes with a nice aioli and brioche bun. The house fries are great too! Overall an excellent dining experience.

Went here on a rainy June weekday. Place was mostly empty at 8pm. Enjoyed our pistachio and espresso martinis, my spring pea risotto and my husband's steak, and our dessert. Service was friendly, our waitress was here from Romania. Cozy atmosphere for a rainy night!

My experience at the restaurant was wonderful. The environment very fancy and classy. The food excepcional ( the best fish and chips that I had). And the service outstanding. Our waitress, Vanya, very professional and caring about us.
What an amazing dinning experience. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to visit The Sacred Cod Tavern with loving friends from Brazil and Scotland and what an amazing experience. Vanya was our server and she dedicated time and attention like no one ever did. She was ready to help with anything, clarifying all questions and describing in details all of our order. She's a superstar and definitely this is a place to be when you are around the Cape.

We had terrible service. Took forty five minutes to get a table when they had said 20. When we were seated, we waited 15 minutes before getting acknowledged. Had to ask for water three times. We had to wave down the waiter whenever we needed drinks or our check. We felt deemed as unimportant to the staff. Extremely disappointed.

Hidden gem of the resort with incredible food, we enjoyed multiple dishes and were impressed with every one. Especially the lobster corn dogs - w o w. Service was attentive and quick, and the prices are hard to beat. Coming from NYC we were thrilled to find food this good!
