Outstanding experience! Great service, excellent food, and a good atmosphere. Great Prime Rib and fun drinks. This was the wonderful last night of our New England vacation.

We had a wonderful time at Chatham Cut. The filet mignon was flavorful and an excellent piece of meat. Pam, our sever was friendly and attentive. We were checked on regularly by the manager. We highly recommend Chatham Cut.

In general the selection of "cuts" is very small for what is considered a steak venue. Filet, Ribeye and Flank. The entrees are actually pretty good in terms of variety so you should take a look before visiting to have a backup plan. We had the grilled oysters but they are out of the shell and served in a small pan which is baked. Good but not great. Our steaks were cooked to our liking but served more cool than warm, small portions of mashed potato and veg to share but also good. Red Wine list is expansive with some great bottles but price options are not fair. A handful of bottles under $100 then quick jump to +$200 then even quicker step u to $300-$800 where most of the bottles were price. The wine by the glass are all $18-$22 and you can get them in $80-$100 range but they are really average. The Bordeaux was the best, we tasted two others, so did that by the glass. But, the Cape lacks good steak places so this is probably the best mid-cape option, otherwise you need to look at Plymouth or Provincetown for higher quality options.
I was expecting superior food for the price point ($68 for a rib eye steak) and I didn't get it. Steak was decent enough, but not fantastic. Sides were overcooked. I was informed that sauces come out of a bottle and are not made on site. The sister restaurant (Pates) is next door and is a far superior dining experience. If you are reading this, make your reservation at Pates.
Outstanding food and service. The Prime Rib is great. Clearly one of the top few restaurants on the Cape.
The Chatham oysters were good. Our service person was great (Amy, I think). The sword fish entree was terrible. I was only able to stomach one bite. Doubt we will ever be back.
We had a great experience at Chatham Cut! Our food was excellent and, Melissa, our server was wonderful!
We sat at the bar. The bartender was extremely attentive and helpful, offering menu suggestions. We both had the 8-oz filet, and it was delicious. Took them a few tries to get the medium rare and medium plus right, but once they did, the steak was perfect. We had creamed spinach and mashed potatoes as sides, and both were good. I recommend the Chatham Cut, and we will definitely be dining there again in the near future.
Great room, service was excellent - however giving it 3 stars because a steak house should offer a NY Strip! You can not call yourself a steak house without one!
We love visiting The Chatham Cut when we stay at The Old Harbor Inn in Chatham. Everything was delicious and Rose was fantastic.

Great food. Wonderful service. Our sever Ellen was amazing. The prime rib was off the charts delicious
Elite service from the moment we walked in. Helen, our server, was a rock star. She was personable and kind. Food?? Awesome!!! Ribeye and jumbo shrimp scampi were **chefs kiss**. A hidden gem. Definitely added to our cape expeditions.

We had dinner at The Chatham Cut last night and, unfortunately, was left disappointed by the food. However, I’ll start by saying that the atmosphere and space inside was quite nice, very well appointed, clean and inviting, harkening a NY style supper club vibe. The hospitality and service were exceptional, truly an inviting and warm experience, with attentive staff and expertly mixed cocktails. It was clear that the front-of-house team was top-notch, but sadly, the food didn’t quite match the high standard set by the service.
My dining partner began with the French Onion Soup, which looked inviting and tasted good, though she did find the cheese to be a bit overwhelming (if that’s even possible). For her main, she ordered the “Jumbo Lump Crab Cake,” which was a disappointment. There was little to no discernible crab, just pureed meat that lacked the succulent chunks you’d expect from a dish like this. It wasn’t particularly flavorful and didn’t deliver the savory seafood punch one might hope for. She ended up leaving half of it on the plate.
I opted for the Teriyaki Steak Tips, served with Scallion Rice and Broccoli. While the steak tips were cooked nicely, the dish as a whole was lacking. The presentation was minimal and uninspired, just a few items placed onto the plate. The teriyaki flavor was almost nonexistent, and I felt it could have been greatly enhanced with a flavorful demi-glace to tie everything together. The rice was labeled “scallion rice,” but there wasn’t a hint of scallion in sight, just plain white rice with no seasoning to speak of besides a few specs of green leafy substances. And lastly the broccoli, yup it was broccoli, but it pretty much stopped there. It was steamed properly and served a vibrant green, but not a hint of flavor, perhaps a show of solidarity as to not show up his neighbor the bland rice. There was no effort made to elevate these components.
In the end, the food was forgettable, though the service certainly shined. It’s a shame, because with a little more attention to the flavors and presentation, it could have been a much more balanced experience.

Great service and vibe. Food was very good but not fully consistent. The risotto with my swordfish was a bit bland. Fennel in the tuna crudo was cut very thick not as elegant as if could have been.
It was excellent! We enjoyed the food, and the server was friendly and took great care of us.
