Food, wait staff and overall atmosphere were outstanding. Would definitely go again. Would highly recommend to others whether its sitting inside their spacious dining rooms or outside along the walk ways watching the world stroll by.

Food was fantastic as usual. Service was very disappointing. Server spent very little time with our table. He did seem to be better with the tables around us. I don't know what the issue was, but the service hurt the dining experience.

They just finished updating the space and bar and the restaurant is gorgeous. Ambiance is great -- for some reason now that it's been redone the two walls of windows overlooking the park and the downtown seems more prominent which is a plus! New chef with new menu is awesome. Great customer service and wait staff. Now to the best part -- the food! My hubby and I have been to the Goose a few times this season sitting at the bar. This time we were with another couple and sat in dining room. All had different dishes : excellent fig prosciutto flatbread, great Caesar salad, fried calamari was proclaimed delicious with the accompanying sauce; and oh....the crabcakes -- delicious with the right amount of sauce and an abundance of sweet crab chunks. the entree items sounded great and are the next thing I want to try. We just did variety of appetizers this time around which was perfect. highly recommend!

The new renovations in the Tavern are lovely. Very attractive, tables are spaced out well to noise wasn't an issue. The service was attentive and pleasant and did not try to rush us. The meals and drinks were top notch. Would recommend and will be back.

We were there on a busy Friday night and started off with the crab cakes that had little crabmeat, but a lot of SPICE!! I had the special swordfish at $36.00 and it was a hard piece of swordfish. Not flaky and tasty. The only veggie was asparagus, which I don't eat, and there were no substitutes. Fortunately, the rice accompaniment was delicious and was about all I ate. My husband had the cod with cracker crumbs and that was tasty. The large portion of bread pudding with cranberries and ice cream was a nice ending to a fair meal that was on the high end price wise. Our waiter was not very cordial, but efficient. We would not return there.

We hadn't been to the Wild Goose in several years because the service was ALWAYS slooowww. No matter how good the food was, the poor service made the dining experience dreadful. Well, when we heard that there was a change in management, we were excited to return. Went for lunch a few days ago, sat on the patio...first nice day of the year. Young waiter was exasperated, out of breath, apologizing for the slow service. And there weren't many tables being served. It took three requests to get a club soda. But the food was great. Went back tonight for dinner. Restaurant was 50-75% filled. One server in the entire restaurant! Food was fabulous. But the service? Awful. And the server was working his butt off. We ordered 2 glasses of wine. I had to get them from the bar myself. Our pre-dinner drinks sat on the bar so long, the ice melted. We told the hostess that they are understaffed. Nothing has changed in several years at this restaurant. So disappointing.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a great experience this time. I didn't feel attended as much compared to the last time that i went to the Wild Goose. The servers will take your order and blitz away without waiting to see if I wanted something else from the menu. The menu felt very limited. I think the soups are very small, although they taste very well. I don't think I will be coming back to Wild Goose again. There's been some changes that I'm not happy with.

The guy bartender was very nice and welcoming. He sat us right away as soon as he saw us. The food was excellent. Will definitely come back again.

Did a great job remodeling. Bar service was very good. Food was OK. Had Calamari w/ banana peppers and spicy mango habanero sauce. No heat. Stuffed stuffed quahog bland. Wife had salmon it was very good. Recommend for those who like bland food no spice.

We had gone the day after Thanksgiving, and there were a bunch of menu items that couldn't be made cause they were simply out. I get that it was busy the day before, but it made it really hard when you have to re-choose your options 3 times. Then the food that was delivered was okay, nothing noteworthy of any of it. Two members, our table had to wait longer than others for their food to come out. The sever had a ton of tables, not to his own fault. But it made everything fall behind drinks and food, and even receiving the check, then having to wait to pay the check. Tobput it simply it was disorganized.

You shouldn't have to look very hard to find someplace better than this. We came in on a cool evening and my wife asked for some herbal tea. She was brought a mug of lukewarm water and a box of bagged teas, none of which were herbal. She ordered pear and walnut ravioli, which turned out to be cheese ravioli with a sauce that had pear and walnut in it. When she asked about some vegetables, the waiter told her the pear and walnut were the vegetables. I ordered a Spanish fish soup, which arrived at the table cold. As far as atmosphere, the whole place had more the air of a college dining hall than a nice restaurant.
