Best Pizza In or Around Chelmsford. I was holding off writing this review until after I could compare with Joanies. Max and Leo's is without question the best Pizza in the area. Everything about their pizzas are fantastic: perfect crust, excellent sauce, plentiful delicious cheese, lots of super fresh and flavorful toppings, cooked to perfection. I love the Max & Leo's in Newton for the easy access but the quality has been a little inconsistent over the past few times we've ordered pick-up from there, with the most recent visit the dough being super thick, almost Detroit-style. The Max & Leo's in Chelmsford had some of the best pizza I've had in a while. The food was phenomenal. Something we enjoyed was the buffalo chicken nachos. Everything was more than solid. The service was pretty fast and everyone was nice. There was a great cozy vibe. There was a bar too.
