Sometimes when you're drunk, you make questionable choices, and I guess I'm using the drunken noodles, which were, by the way, pretty good, as my excuse here. However, the crispy tofu was downright flavorless, which is largely what one expects from tofu anyway. Maybe if it had come with some decent sauce.... But really, I have two real complains - first, the service was pretty slow. This would be understandable if they were busy or understaffed, but the restaurant wasn't...
My wife and I have been regulars here, but our visit today was disappointing. We ordered a large and a medium #17, and the portions of both noodles and meat were significantly smaller than they were just a few months ago. We really love the flavor, but the value has definitely dropped. Not sure if there’s been a change in management or kitchen standards, but we hope to see the old portions return.
Nice spot! We decided to give it a try after passing many times. Large dining area with a bar on the right, food menu was pretty extensive, so was the drinks menu. I ordered the medium bowl of rare steak beef soup which was very tasty, although I'm not sure I would have been able to finish the large as the medium was very big.
