The chicken must’ve been left to sit unrefrigerated for a long time the meat smells bad and tastes off as well. Got food poisoning here a couple years ago, but this time I will never go back.

Came here for lunch one day during the week after walking by. It looked like your typical Chinese food take out restaurant. They had really good lunch combo choices. For around $8.00 I received a good portion of beef with broccoli and pork fried rice. I added an egg roll and a soda for not much more. I was pleased with everything except for the older gentleman’s people skills. When ordering, he seemed to cut me off instead of letting me say everything I needed. I was annoyed to the point I was about to tell him never mind but I took a chance with him and glad I did. I will be back soon!Parking: Metered Street parking only. 1 quarter= 30 minutes.

OMG! This place has been here forever. You'd think by now the chef and order person would understand one another! And that's aside from how they have been cutting corners more and more!Anyway, today I ordered wonton egg drop soup , and Yes, the boneless ribs (my cat loves them). They made an order of fried wonton, ribs and regular egg drop soup.Being a sport, and a decent consumer, I said, I'd take the fried wonton, but I wanted the wonton egg drop soup. He brought the egg drop soup to the cook to have the wonton added. I saw the cook with the soup. He took the lid off, I walked away. He did nothing more than put the lid back on!I should not have been required to stay at the counter and stare him down! When I returned home to bring it to my family member (I am a 24/7 caregiver and had to get someone to stay with my family member. She is not suppose to be left alone). There were no wonton's in the soup!I called. The man at the counter answered and gave me a very hard time. He did not give me the option to return it. Just yelled. He didn't want to hear it.This has not been the first time they couldn't make what they offered. My neighbor told me to, "Stay out of there. I know the local police. I was told, they use to order take out from them a lot, and stopped. Bugs were found in the food orders many times. They no longer go there"!Call them yourself. I haven't.I do know my neighbor lived her all her life. She knows the police, fire department and EMS people in the area. And she is a very honest, sincere woman. It had been several months since we used them. I hoped that issue stopped. Their attitude hasn't and neither is the amount of grease and fats in their food!I tried the fried wantons. I've had them many times before. They were disgusting, spit it out! No idea what they filled it with. But it wasn't pork!Regarding the boneless ribs, the pictures with their menus on the walls, don't show boneless ribs with all that fat! It is almost 40% fat!The egg drop soup was acceptable. A bit too thin.We won't be going back to Chung wah again. We are a consumer oriented society. It is not like they are giving it away. And there is no sign that says, "As Is"!. I expect to get what they advertise and I pay them to cook.

most of the times people just order 6 which is just chicken with rice. Whatever they use on that chicken is the bomb. 8/10. Tasted better wings but the the wings are worth your dollar. Although I feel bad for the time my dad order and simply didn’t want to pay since they didn’t accept credit cards (still don’t I believe that why they have an ATM). $33.16. I wonder what they did with the food. Anyways good food come give it a chance just be clear since that make cashier has hearing problems I heard. Just be ready to repeat your self and speak somewhat clear and yeah.

I came here three times to make sure I gave them a fair shake before saying that it's not good. It's not like it's a terrible restaurant, but everything is just a bit disappointing. Will not be returning. Food taste 3/5 Food quality 3/5 $ Value (portion size) 5/5 Speed of service 5/5 Sit down option - yes Cash only - yes The flavor of most items was a bit bland; the low price reflects in the quality. I don't know quite how to explain why the meat felt cheap aside from saying that it felt like they took pre-cooked meats and put sauce on it rather than marinating meats and letting the flavor speak for itself. I didn't love the texture of the beef (beef with broccoli and beef teriyaki sticks) and the rice and lo mein didn't have that much flavor to them despite seeming to have plenty of ingredients. The Kung Po chicken was alright but was not spicy (as implied by the menu) and had a lot of veggies, not a lot of chicken. Also the new lunch special info on the website is misleading; the options are much more limited (as of Aug and Sept '22). So I was caught off guard when I arrived and realized that there wasn't really a lunch special that I wanted. As others have mentioned, the guy at the counter is very difficult to understand but I have been able to order successfully. Beef with broccoli - good flavor but somehow still not that enjoyable to eat; probably wouldn't get again. Kung Po chicken - alright, not spicy at all. wouldn't get again. #34 (lo mein, beef teriyaki, boneless spareribs, chicken fingers) - bland.
