had one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever encountered at El Kiosco Signature Steakhouse & Seafood.
I brought a group of 5 friends who were visiting from out of state, expecting a smooth and welcoming experience. From the moment we walked in, things were disorganized. We were directed to a table that only had 3 chairs, leaving 2 of us without seats.
My friend and I went to the bar to order drinks, which should’ve been simple. Instead, a server told us we weren’t allowed to order at the bar because we had a table — even though there weren’t enough seats for all of us. I calmly explained we planned to order from both, but that somehow became an issue.
From there, things got uncomfortable fast. Staff members were clearly talking about us, there was no communication, and no one gave us a straight answer as to why we weren’t being served. We were then moved from the center of the restaurant all the way to the back with zero explanation.
Eventually, a man who appeared to be management or the owner approached us and he himself seemed to have been drinking. After several minutes of confusion and back-and-forth, he suddenly said it was “okay” for us to order and tried to shake my hand. At that point, the experience was already ruined.
We came in for one quick drink and to show my friends around. Instead, we were met with disorganization, unprofessional behavior, and a very uncomfortable atmosphere.
To make things worse, as we were leaving, the same man locked the door, looked directly at us, laughed, and the staff began closing the metal blinds. 4/11/26 11:50 PM
Completely unprofessional and disrespectful.
I stayed calm and respectful the entire time, but this was easily one of the worst first impressions I’ve had at any restaurant.
Absolutely Would NOT recommend. Go to Populus around the corner holds the crown 👑 to best spot in this area.

Guys, c'mon the loud music simply ruined our dinner. To me the best ceviche in town was not enjoyed properly as my wife and I had to shout to barely understand each other. I felt my eardrums were about to explode and felt so relieved when I got out.
I understand the place is to enjoy music and eventually dance, which i love, but guys turn the volume up late later, not at 5-6pm
That's the reason why I cannot give a 5 stars.

You can't go wrong with Peruvian a big variety of food from ceviche,causa rellena,lomo saltado,anticuchos(beef heart) or a triple seafood combo ceviche with a rice mix seafood with fried fish my favorite called trio marino!

The service is the worst, I wouldn't recommend it. The other time they didn't want to help me because they were taking a photo.
I had the opportunity to enjoy lomo saltado and chicharrón with tostones at "El Kiosko." The flavor combination was exceptional, highlighting the juiciness of the lomo and the crispness of the chicharrón. The presentation was impeccable, and each bite reflected the attention to detail in the kitchen. I definitely give it a 5/5. A highly recommended culinary experience.
I had the opportunity to enjoy a plate of lomo saltado and chicharrón with tostones at "El Kiosko". The combination of flavors was exceptional, highlighting the juiciness of the loin and the crunchiness of the pork rinds. The presentation was impeccable, and every bite reflected the attention to detail in the kitchen. Without a doubt, I give it a 5/5. A highly recommended culinary experience.

El Kiosco is a great restaurant! I ordered the Carne Asada / Grilled Steak to go. As you can see from the photo, my dinner was substantial at a very reasonable price. I could tell that this is a favorite of local residents, which is a good sign. My dinner was superb, and I highly recommend the short walk from your hotel to pick up a truly original meal.

I am Peruvian, and I also know how to cook, I think the Ají de Gallina needed to be a little creamier. The Lomo Saltado, the meat was good, there was a lot of Siyao, it lacked some flavor from the vinegar.
