The steak bomb was the best sub that I have ever eaten in my life. I thought it was a normal sized one, no it was two normal sized ones. Steaming hot with cheese and the freshest bread I have ever had on a sub. If you are ever in the Boston area, you should head toward Salem and take the Chelsea exit and try one.

Wow, the subs here are no joke! I ordered the steak bomb (delicious!) and had enough to feed three hungry adults - the sandwich was literally longer than my forearm. Service was quick and friendly, and I loved the old-school feel of the joint. Highly recommended! S&L is a serious contender for one of the top sandwich shops on the North Shore!

This was my first time visiting this place, but it is for sure not the last.
It was one of the best subs I've ever had.
The food was great and the service was even better.
Very friendly people and tasty food.
The portions are very big and the price is relatively cheap.
And the wait time is minimal.
