This review is for the service. Terrible place for a family with young kids that are hungry. I went in with my 4 and 1 year old while my husband was on his way with our seven-year-old from class. My two kids were very hungry and I asked for a table they said they could not seat us until we're all there. I said I would order for all of us and that my kids were very hungry. They would not seat us even though the restaurant was empty, and not very busy. The hosts seemed very disinterested and not accommodating and went back to looking on their phones as soon as we left. I went next-door to cheesecake factory whose staff was amazing. I understand if it was a very busy time but they literally had a lot of tables open and could have accommodated us.

The staff were rude. Refused to seat us due to a person in our party running a bit late. We asked if it is possible to order 3 adult sized portions so the other person can eat when he arrives but they still denied us. Forced us to sit on the bar and promised that it will clear up and have a seat that my friend can use when he arrives but it's fully packed already and doesn't seem to clear up any time soon. Staff is rude and dismissive, ended up kicking us out of the restaurant after we ordered food. They also changed the food order to take-out without our consent and forced us to pay for the food.

I traveled from Maynard to this place 35 minutes. They had a 51-71 minute wait. My brother called to make a reservation they said it has to be in person. Arrived early enough waited and then was told 5 minutes before reservation all of us had to be there to get in. I was unable to make it due to work obligations. Arrived on time one minute before but they would not budge on seating my other friends earlier as they waited for me to just let the reservation expire and make us wait again. The only offered take out which made us leave instantly no food. I wish I got managers name as they said this is their policy which is extremely frustrating to deal with either wait an hour early or make us wait an hour after. A place like this that has that long of a wait and can not handle reservations deserves a 1 star.

The food is very diverse. My friends and I try to go on Mondays after work. The service is very friendly. The menu has something for everyone. For me personally, some of the things are a little "extra" if you just want a plain breakfast experience. That being said, they are very creative with their offerings and they have monthly specials that are fun to try as well. Go to are the tot kegs on the appetizers.

The environment and food were great! The table was a bit small but nothing crazy. Sadly the staff overall seemed like they would rather be anywhere else than be working there. The hostesses were upset about customer coming in right in front of us and our waitress felt super annoyed about being there lol. I get that customer service sucks but the restaurant was DEAD and I literally felt guilty for existing there!!! I’m sure it was just an off day for everyone and at another date it would likely be a great experience. I would come back but probably to a different location… I really recommend the drink flights!! And the pickle Bloody Mary. So good. And the vibes were immaculate.

An absolutely lovely experience. Food was wonderful, service was fast, and affordable. Churro bites are a must try highly recommend. Along with the mango lemonade. Definitely recommend!

The restaurant smelled like Dead rat died in there. And when I received my food there was bugs on it service was great my waitress was amazing but location was repulsive.

The food is really good here but this location is plagued with operational issues galore that taint the experience. The wait time quoted was 45 minutes, we were added to the virtual queue, but the wait ended up being over an hour and a half. At about the 45 minute mark we received a text saying the wait would be longer. At this point we were already here and agreed to wait. To be off by double the time is really bad. I can see 10-15 minute leeway but an additional 45+ minutes? When we were finally seated it took a while for our server to greet us. We ordered immediately because we had so much time with the menu while we waited. The food also took a while to come out. The server said they were busier than usual. Which for a place with a set number of tables is odd, it’s busy every Sunday. When the food came, the water cup had stuff floating in it and the plates weren’t fully clean from previous usage. They had dried syrup on them but our dishes did not have syrup. It then took longer than usual for the server to clear the plates and bring the check. It’s no surprise why the wait is so long.

Came here for our first breakfast of 2024. The menu is fairly large and the staff was friendly. Most of the dishes seem really yummy, just wish there was an alternative to home fries. Looking forward to trying the mimosa flight next time.

I had a mixed experience during my recent visit to Friendly Toast. While the general staff were exceptional, providing great assistance and showcasing commendable hospitality, I encountered an issue with the service at the bar. Unfortunately, the bartender, a tall and slim individual with a distinctive haircut, did not display the same level of professionalism. His approach felt lackadaisical, and there was an unpleasant incident where my credit card was returned to me in a wet and sticky condition, which seemed unnecessary. Despite this, the overall helpfulness of the rest of the staff was a redeeming factor of my visit.
