Mike, the ever-present owner & manager, is a top-shelf guy. I felt very welcome after a long hiatus while being out of the area. The Blue Room is a long-time Chicopee landmark, and maybe where I had my first legal drink! It's unpretentious, unassuming and unapologetic in it's humble, working-class aura. For me, a standout; a sort of throwback to the best of what sports bars ought to be - great & friendly staff, solid draft beer selection, and affable customers...

One of the greatest neighborhood bars you'll find anywhere. Great locals hangout. If you like hockey - this is your mecca. Fun events from time to time as well - kegs and eggs - chili competition - cinco de mayo - etc ?

A true neighborhood bar. Great staff that attracts a wonderful group of local regulars. Friendly, open, caring, supportive. Impressive. Great events from time to time as well. 5k road race, kegs n eggs, chili competition. All while raising some funds for some worthy local causes. Like hockey? Never imagined such a thing, but this is truly a hockey bar! Come and enjoy.
