We ordered 3 items. LA Chicken sandwich, fish & chips & a lobster roll. All 3 were excellent. Shoestring fries were also great. Everything was fresh even 20 minutes before closing.

The best lobster rolls. The absolute worst manager. Unfortunately will not be returning, he’s that bad.

The restaurant is located right next door to the local co-op which confused us for a moment when trying to find. However, the food was well worth it! The fried whole belly clams were sweet and plentiful (I was overjoyed to find them offered!). The lobster rolls were packed with lobster, enough for 2 lobster rolls honestly. Big chunks of lobster and not overdone with mayonnaise. Lunch was $90 for 3 of us, but honestly, we all through it was well worth it considering the portions and deliciousness! They did have other offerings, like fish tacos that were more reasonably priced, but we specificity went for the lobster and clams! Highly recommend. PS: pics of food were taken after we had eaten at least 1/3 of our lunch.

We all had whole belly fried clams! Excellent! We traveled from the Syracuse NY area and whole belly fried clams are not offered in our area. We were surprised to find them here and the four of us all enjoyed them!!

Fish Tacos are the Best in the Northeast. Highly Recommend!!! They really need to have a Nice Positive Friendly Person dealing directly with the customers. Ask for extra sauce and was made to feel like it was an inconvenience. The person who gave out the food was So Nice! She should be taking the orders.

Found something different, the parking was a little complicated but well worth it ?. Good size portions. Reasonable priced. The whole belly clams were big. All was good, I just think the menu could be expanded a little bit more, if they already have clams, lobster rolls and scallops why not add fried shrimp. I would give them a 4.7 out of 5.

With over 50 new picnic tables spread between the Shack and River Valley Coop, some with partial overhead coverage, they could feed half an Army Battalion. Rather than compete, the two institutions appear to be cooperating. You can get healthier food out the door of the Coop, but most of us need our fried food fix from time to time. With very fresh Clams, Lobster, Chicken and splendid french fries and onion rings, the nearly grease-less frying is almost guilt free. Sure, inclement weather reduces their customer base and a windy day reveals how flimsy the napkins and paper plates are. But this is a fine seaside tradition brought a long way inland. Enjoy the tastes of summer. It's not cheap, but seafood is no longer peasant food. Also, it looks like their Chicopee branch will open sometime in September. It's not a chain, but some hard working locals.

This could easily be 5 stars with a few tweaks. The lobster roll was the largest I ever had, couldn’t even see the grilled roll. However, the lobster was waterlogged, and had no flavor whatsoever; the included French fries were huge, but soggy and lukewarm. Our clams were plentiful, but very greasy. I expected better for supposedly the first day being open

The lobster rolls are amazing, and are 2-3 times as much lobster meat compared to any other lobster roll I've EVER had! The fries are pretty good, too! I looooove Captain Jack's!
