My family, five adults and five children under ten, held my birthday party at Fronterra Grill on Boston Road last week-end and found the space provided, the food, and the service to be great. I hardily recommend this restaurant as a place for a family celebration. My Champion Burrito was absolutely delicious. Thanks to the staff at Fronterra Grill for a very pleasant afternoon.

The food is generally good. However, it always seems as though the chicken is precooked for whatever dish is being served. The food is rarely hot although it is served very quickly.

It's hard to review places like this when you've had true authenticate Mexican food before. It scored the way it did for the atmosphere and customer service. If the food was better, I would have given it a higher rating.
Visiting from Austin Texas and wanted to try some TexMex here in MA. Margarita options were ok, avoided the ones with a mix and got the Skinny Lime. Very good. Missing some other Mexican cocktails like a Mexican Martini or Paloma. Ordered the "Jalapeño Cheese Dip". Very good but please change the name to Chile con Queso. Table salsa and chips were fine, not really spicy. Had the Seafood Enchaladas. They were good. They came with a cheese based sauce which was a bit odd. Would have preferred a green sour cream based sauce. Tortillas were pretty basic and what you would get from the grocery store. Got a new waitress, service was ok. Overall good.

Fun place to go with a crowd. Lots of menu options. No spicy margarita but asked for jalapeños and they added to my drink for me. The mariachi band will have me going back again!

I've only taken out from this location so the only thing I can rate 5* without reservation is the food, which is really, really good. My only problem is, every time I walk in the restaurant it reeks of disinfectant. For this reason I will never eat in. I like disinfectant, but you guys are going way overboard.
An incredible experience! The staff are the nicest people people that I have encountered at a restaurant in, at least, a decade. They welcome you when you arrive and are prompt & courteous throughout the meal. My wife and I ordered the tableside guacamole - an absolute must! We asked them to add mango and it was amazing. I don't drink, but my wife ordered the top shelf margarita. She thought it was excellent. I had the chicken quesadillas and my wife ordered the chicken fajitas. Both portions were sizable and very good. Please note, the rice is traditional & contains peas. A+++ for every part of the experience and I would recommend Frontera Grille to any fan of Mexican food!
