Great Wall Chinese Restaurant

Kind of horrid- I walked in to pay my food it smelt like straight burnt oil on top of that I watch them put my food into the bag- the older female cook touches the egg roll with her bare hands and placed it into the bag and then touches the stapler and counter then the big brown bag the younger female watched me make a face and then blocked her baging the rest of the food . The other male cook had on 1 glove. Totally unhygienic it disgusted me to eat the food- will not be ordering from here again.

One of the worst experiences I had ordering from a food chain. I put an order through DoorDash and specifically put in the notes not to include onion on one of the orders due to someone being deathly allergic. I then called to make sure and I was put on hold to talk to a manager then hung up on. I called again and the phone was picked up and hung up again. I then called using my work phone and was told that the food was already in transit. When checked on DoorDash, my driver hasn't even arrived at the location yet.

When the food arrived and the food was checked, onions were seen all in the rice. I attempted to call again and express my concern and I was hung up on for the third time. Thank you for DoorDash support for reimbursing me on my order and opening an investigation against my claim.

This is not the first issue I had with Great Wall either. Last time I ordered I received my food with a eggroll missing. I expressed I was missing it and the delivery driver (Hired by Great Wall not DoorDash) reached into someone else’s order he had with him and removed a Eggroll with his bare hands putting it on my bag. DISGUSTING! Please don’t eat here!

So we have been ordering from here for close to 35 years...lately its been horrible...we ordering delivery and the food has been super dry or overcooked...things thrown together. And most times inedible...we only called the last time , not asking for anything just letting them know . Today my husband ordered and thr chicken fingers came suoer dry and so hard that I almost broke a tooth. I called and all I was told was they will do better next time. I said look this is next time. Manager said he would take $3 off NEXT time. Nope we are good. There are other places to order from..you lost 35 + years of loyal customers....

It was the worst Chinese food I ever ate general's chicken was all dough my wife had the chicken and garlic sauce so salty you couldn't eat it never go back

I've been a regular customer for the last 9+yrs. It was the best Chinese in the area. Sadly, I'm disappointed by the food I got tonight. Don't get me wrong, the quality was good, but everything was bland and flavorless. We got an eggdrop soup, wonton soup and shrimp/lobster sauce with rice and eggrolls. Everything was bland.

Always get less than what I ordered. This time a Pu-Pu for 2 arrived as a Pu-Pu for 1 and then didn’t answer the phone. Not first time.

Ok so first I want to say that Ben the manager is awesome. A few weeks back we ordered fifty dollars worth of food (no much but wait there's more) and only the chicken fingers were edible to us. I called and asked if they changed their recipes and they said yes and I told him how our food was and he gave us the credit for this order. Well tonight we called for only chicken fingers and we got 4 large boxes of them and the ones we ate were perfect. When they told me about the change in recipe items (I'm sure for a lower cost) they said that they didn't taste a difference or if they did it was a very slight difference. They were our go to Chinese restaurant and now we won't have one, so we're bummed about that but at least the chicken fingers are awesome to us. Please don't let this review change your mind about ordering for here. It's a nice restaurant for take out and the people are helpful and friendly, we've never had a problem until now and you might like the difference that they did. Enjoy them I'm sure you won't be sorry.

I usually like this place, but the chicken fingers and jumbo shrimp were like rubber and flavorless. It's like they microwaved them. I am Disappointed.

The food was horrible. I had 2 bites and threw it in the trash. My food taste like it was left over from yesterday, and they warmed it up. If I could have given zero stars, I would have.
