I've been in love with this restaurant (Kiyomi) since it opened! Thank goodness it survived COVID-19 and is currently surviving the aftermath. Enjoyed an early Mother's Day outing with my momma and followed this meal with a movie, 'Sinners'. The service is confusing sometimes, it's almost as if they have pre-notations about how to slightly disrespect the person that isn't paying for the meal. I guess they don't have manners for ALL types of patrons....
Don't get me wrong, they have a great Chinese menu. The meats are good quality, fresh veggies and we'll seasoned. They have a good selection of sake. The sushi menu however is VERY disappointing. Half of their specialty rolls are just California rolls with different toppings. Most don't include any raw fish at all...it is very Americanized and not really sushi. I'll stick to their Chinese entrees in the future.
