a cold snowy day. perfect for beer and German food! Well, kind of.... Arrived around 2pm after a small snow storm. (roads in Chicopee were HORIBLE!!!). Sat at the bar, which was empty. Maybe 3 tables of folks!! ordered a beer. Great! Complimentary Chips and dip were fabulous!! Ordered the Jager Schnitzel with spatzel and cabbage.Schnitzel was just ok. A bit tough. Spatzel was Luke warm and bland. cabbage? just ok. beers?Great! it will be awhile before I go back.
The staff and everyone at the Munich House are the best. The food is fantastic and the beer was great. Again, I can't say enough about the satff. Thank you for a wonderful day!!!!
Food was excellent! We had the Giant pretzel, chicken francaise, chicken riesling and veal schnitzel. Sides were good but the mashed butternut squash was the best I have had in a long time. Finished with the peanut butter cake with ice cream. Will be back again.
The only warning I have is the french onion is a $4 up charge, waiter didn’t mention it when tell us soup choices.
Parking: Lot behind build but not a lot for a large restaurant.
