Today I stopped by and got Malanga, Arroz con Gandules and Pollo Guisado. The women serving are warm and helpful, the small space is clean and very well organized. You feel like you are with family when being served. I really loved the food. Somebody put extra effort into cooking it. The flavor of the arroz con gandules is special and delicious. The chicken, a perfect blend of sofrito, tomato and rich sauce with a few potatoes and carrots that make a good balance. Delicious! The mananga tasted fresh and a great consistency. Great contrast with the vinegar onions on top. I can't wait to go back. I really hope this place does well because they are putting a lot of love and effort into the preparation and cooking.
Thank you for the friendly service and excellent food. I recommend this place 100%. Delicious, fresh food and abundant quantity for a reasonable price. Very rich and not greasy and a lot of flavor. You can tell that someone knows how to cook and that they put a special effort into the dishes. The place is small but cozy. I'm going back as soon as I can and I'm going to tell those who work with me that it's worth ordering food from here.
