This little bar feels like one of those secret places only the locals know. They keep it a secret so they have all the food to themselves. My overall experience was good, and I do recommend it if you're looking for a good seafood restaurant in its little corner. Just note that it has minimal parking.
I have lived in Chicopee for a long time and must have driven by this place hundreds of times. One day I popped in to see what it was all about. This place gives off old school vibes. The crowd were mostly Portuguese and super friendly. The menu had a decent selection for being a smaller restaurant/bar. I ordered the Bitoque and shrimp cakes as take out. I got back to the hotel and opened the packages. No shrimp cakes - cod cakes instead. There were well made but was very disappointed I didn't get what I ordered. The bitoque was a huge let-down. I am used to a bitoque with Spanish fries. This had regular fries.
