Travellers, the menemsha fish market is a wonderful fish store where you can get the freshest fish in an addition to prepared foods, like quarts of clam chowder and stuffed clams and scallops. We order on the phone and then pick up the order which for us includes raw clams and oysters they are fresh shucked. Ask about Stanley Larsen, the proprietor. He is featured in a seafood cookbook. The food is delicious and very fresh. The fresh fish is magnificent. The prices are high but the quality of the fish is exceptional. The store is open late and all year round. If you’re going to get fresh fish here is a wonderful place and the fish is straight from the ocean. Check it out. We recommend.

We went here to have take out dinner with a relaxing view of the sunset. I had the warm lobster roll which did not hold together well, but was quite tasty.

Love coming here for some seafood and the view. Iv been coming here at least a couple of times a year for the last 4 years and unfortunately I think the quality has gone down some. I tried my first ever oyster here and I fell in love but now I'd put them at the bottom of my list for oysters as they don't even serve them on ice so they are just room temperature which is off putting. The lobster roll could be filled a bit more. But service is always great and vibes are always immaculate!
