Phoenix Bistro Reviews
Such a great find! The food was fresh and full of flavor, the drinks were well made, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is very clean and has a comfortable vibe — definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.
The food was mediocre at best (we ordered the kung pao chicken and the garlic chicken). Not a lot of flavor at all, though the portions were respectable.
We also ordered the dumplings, which were good.
We ordered the “calamari” and we are sure it is not real squid at all. Not a tentacle in sight and every ring the same size. Strange texture too.

The Phoenix Bistro is a small Chinese restaurant located in the Stop & Shop Plaza in Cohasset, offering a variety of fresh and flavorful dishes. The menu features classic Chinese fare, including the house special fried rice, pu pu platter, and Singapore rice noodle with shrimp, all of which are praised for their high quality and cleanliness compared to typical Chinese restaurants. The restaurant also offers a full bar and sushi options, with the sushi presentation receiving positive remarks. The staff is consistently described as friendly and attentive, providing great customer service. The atmosphere is comfortable, and the decor, while not Asian-themed, creates a pleasant dining experience. Overall, the Phoenix Bistro is a welcomed addition to the area, offering a step up from the previously closed Feng Shui restaurant and becoming a go-to place for Asian cuisine.
