Went for the first time on an early Friday evening, as we had tickets to a local concert nearby. On Fridays they have a pop up pizza place where the band normally plays (learned this from a nice local couple we chatted with). I have been to other beer gardens and this experience, on this particular night, was a pleasant surprise. This seems to be the “in” place for families with young children to grab some pizza and a beer in a friendly courtyard. The place was packed with kids, so much so that my husband and I jokingly renamed the place “kinderbeer”. I love kids so this was not a turnoff, but I would steer clear on early Friday afternoons if you’re looking for a quiet place to chill and drink a beer.

Beer, food & atmosphere very nice. Extremely pricy. We dropped $300 on 3 beers, 18 oysters & 2 lobster rolls. Everything was very tasty & fresh, but wow! It was a self-service order from a counter, hence the 3 stars on service, but they were friendly.

Beautiful and laid back spot to grab beers and hang out with friends! Amazing beer selection, fresh raw bar and such a friendly group of people working behind the bar. Would give six stars if I could.

What a nice tucked away beer garden. Ample seating outdoors with tables and chairs and picnic tables. Nice shaded areas to sit and enjoy bice cold beer and some food. They had a live band during our visit. Really enjoyed the fresh oysters and the selection of 🍻 veers. Very well worth a visit😉

Seems like it would be a fun spot, solid draft list, pretty good oysters. But if you’re looking for a vibe this isn’t it. Way too many children just running around without any of their parents seeming to care. They should probably limit the amount of people in there at a time. Dog friendly which is nice. But with that many kids running around jumping on and off of everything and throwing small rocks at dogs that’s just not right, and will leave to pissed off people. I’ll just go to Island Creek who have it all right.

Love split rock! Great ambiance, awesome drinks, delicious food! We love to meet friends who also have small children. It’s very welcoming and we always have a fun time. Also, their bathroom set up is great for changing little ones!

What a special gem this place is ? Really awesome tap list and oyster selection. They had some great live music in one area and the Pats game on in another so basically something for everyone. Loved it and hope to visit again soon!

I'm sure it's not like this all the time, but today, it's a kiddie play pen. Seems like the kids out number the adults. They were climbing on the barrels and tables like they're at a jungle gym. One kid is stripping in the middle of the walking path ...
I appreciate kid friendly breweries like Untold, but this is an awful experience for non-parent adults. Both the owners and parents should be embarrassed. 90's mall play areas weren't this out of control.

Great beer selection. Also offer a few hard ciders. Limited food menu but you can order from nearby restaurants & bring here to enjoy. Live local bands play here as well. Excellent place to meet a friend(s) for a drink & a bite!
