Truly an end of an era, so sad to see this local gem go. I've spent many evenings with family drinking Mai tais and pinot grigio discussing life's ups and downs in a familiar friendly atmosphere with excellent moo shu pork and peking ravioli to boot. So sad to lose it :( Jack and family, thank you for everything!

The food was savory and nicely spiced, the atmosphere was calming and everyone who works there is super nice. It’s a great place to go with friends!

This place used to be my favorite in all of Massachusetts, food used to be incredible. I’ve visited Chang Ann a couple of times per month for the last 6 years. Sadly, I don’t think I will ever go back. My parents are visiting and I wanted to take them to my favorite Chinese place. The waitress working tonight was the most unprofessional and rude waitress I’ve ever experienced in my life. Literally screaming at us. At one point, she refused to take our drink orders because “we had already ordered too many times” what does that even mean? We just wanted a couple of ginger ales to go along with our appetizers. I can’t even describe how insane this experience was. On top of that, the food was below average. Not sure what is happening here but I sure as heck won’t go back. You lost a loyal customer after embarrassing me in front of my family…

Thought I would give it another try. Still food was not that good. No rice is provided with each meal and for the smallest of containers they charge an additional 3.++ dollars. People working there appear rather unhappy. Was disappointed. They need a new cook who knows how to build flavour into the recipes. Very bland food. Hope they work to improve. Used to be great food.

Classic Chinese food! Delish. Good General Gau. Pork Fried Rice. And the Boneless ribs were my favorite. Will be back again soon!

Food generally was excellent but we were there for the Peking Duck. It the past it's been excellent but this time we were disappointed. The skin should be crispy and have a distinctive flavor but this time it was soft, bland, and greasy. We ordered 2 ducks for 4 people but there just wasn't enough meat and some of us came up short. Everything else we ordered was good. We'd go back again, but would pass on the Peking Duck.

We dined here on a Monday night and practically had the entire place to ourselves. The Mai Tai drinks are really good, as was their Szechuan chicken and mushi pork.

So my roommate and I just ate at this restaurant last night for the first time, for context both of us were originally going to dine at Karma but because it was so busy and we had a show to get to we settled for Chang An's. Both he and I were surprised that there was one option on the entire menu that was Gluten free, he has a gluten allergy, and it was Shrimp Tempura. He was very happy he could have shrimp tempura and we double checked with the bartender if it actually was gluten free and the bartender did say it was so we ordered our food and drinks and tried to finish our food as quickly as possible since the show started at 8pm and it was a bit past 7pm. So we finished our food and drinks, pay for our food it was $71 bucks total and leave. We walked to the theater, got our tickets, found our seats, and made it through the 1st act, when my roommate started feeling sick. Both he and I concluded that maybe the shrimp tempura wasn't actually gluten free or maybe it was the duck sauce but either way both of us agreed to head home and miss the second half of the show. We got home safely thankfully but now I feel sick from my beef lo mein, so at the end of the day, Chang An's is probably better as just a sports bar for mixed drinks but not as a restaurant. The food was subpar and made both myself and my roommate sick. Do not go here if you don't want food poisoning.

They are usually short staffed, but very attentive and the food is absolutely delicious.. worth the wait!

I was very upset that they changed the amount I had written on the gratuity for a Take out order. They padded it $7.00 from the amount I wrote which is actually a criminal offense. I won’t be going back. The food was good but it’s just the principle.

We are visiting from out of state. We ordered take out for 7 and although the staff was friendly and the order was ready quickly, the food was not that good. Shrimp lo Mein had minimal shrimp. The noodles tasted like undercooked spaghetti vs noodles we have eaten at locations elsewhere. The Won Ton Soup was very, very bland. I had not looked closely at the prices on line. Our take out bill was also well over $100. Disappointing
