Amazing food, quite quaint place right next to the train tracks. There is a model train circling the inside border of the cafe. I tried the Mexican skillet and it was fabulous. The chili was filled with flavor. We had a slight mishap with timing of our meal and the servers were very attentive to us and even provided us with some additional pastries. They go above and beyond for their customers.

Great place for traditional breakfast. Convenient location with off street parking.

We had breakfast here with two little kids who are obsessed with trains. While the food was delicious, the ambiance (with toy trains zooming around and real trains peeking through the windows intermittently) is what set this cafe apart for us. A true hit for a family with little kids. The staff were very friendly, too.

Good service and food in an historic train station. Commuter rail action right outside and the model train is fun.Wheelchair accessibility: Not sure, but accessibility appears it could be challenging.

Fresh excellent food with a fun atmosphere and great staff. What else can I say? Stop in and see for your self if you're in the area. You won't regret!?Kid-friendliness: There's model trains inside going to keep the kids entertained plus the real ones coming by time to time right outside

Old time sort of place. Cheap eats and cheap service. Not very clean with crumbs on the table. Very slow service even with few people in there.
It's a classic dinner where you can still get a full plate, bottomless coffee and leave a good tip for less than $20. It is my Saturday morning spot.

We stopped by for a quick lunch and wished we had gone to the brewery down the street Earliest We ordered two sandwiches. The grilled ham and cheese was $16.50 ! really? Overpriced for a grilled ham and cheese and there was an up charge of three dollars for lettuce, tomato and onion . At the very least I would have thought the waitress would’ve told us there was an up charge. It was like Additionally the wait was long while the cook chatted with his friends out in the dining room. the roast beef was served on regular grocery store white white bread, which didn’t hold up well with all the ingredients. The bread was not homemade. Huge disappointment won’t be back.

Tasty breakfast food in a pleasant, diner-style atmosphere. Almost feels like you're waiting for a train (and I suspect you can, you know, wait for a train there, although not with quite the romance of old; as far as I know only the MBTA stops there. But if you're commuting, or even just on a special event trip, it's worth arriving early to eat here. Highly recommended, even though it will likely increase custom, thus decreasing my personal enjoyment (some of the charm was the low occupancy when I went, which was for Saturday brunch around 10 or so).

Food very good, though highlight by far is atmosphere and friendly staff. On a busy Saturday AM be prepared for a wait, even after seated but the classics train decor and local memorabilia makes waiting more enjoyable. Google Maps was not as clear about which parking lot but that's on Google not Club Car CafeKid-friendliness: Kids will probably enjoy model train around the ceiling - I did ?
