Sushi tonight was marginal; edamame was cold and doused in salt (I asked for a little extra salt and it was coated like salt crusted cod), and the spring roll were luke warm.

Excellent food, especially sushi. Service is quick. Atmosphere in dining room is nothing special but there's a nice little bar.

The drinks were perfect, but the scallion pancake was just deep fried bread.
The veggie gyoza was tasteless.
I’d happily have a drink there anytime, but will not eat there again. Also, the waiter asked three or four times if we wanted food, and repeatedly took plates off our table and replaced them for no reason that we could discern. 🤷‍♀️

We went for an early dinner. Our waiter was not friendly. I ordered the shrimp Pad Thai and there were only 2 shrimps in it. Out of all 5 of us none of us thought the food was good for the price. The worst part was the waiter came back over and said we hadn’t left enough tip. We had 3 checks and left 20% for all of us on one check. I told him it is not mandatory to actually leave a tip. He was rude and we will never go back again.

Karma in Concord has easily become one of my favorite restaurants in the area, and this visit really reminded me why. From the moment you walk in, the place just feels right — modern, clean, and energetic, but still comfortable enough that you can actually relax and enjoy your meal. It’s busy in a good way, the kind of buzz that makes you excited to be there rather than rushed.

The food is consistently excellent. Everything we ordered came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The sushi in particular really stands out — you can tell the fish quality is high, and the rolls are balanced without being overloaded with sauce. Each bite tasted clean and intentional. The hot dishes were just as good, with great seasoning and texture, not greasy or overly salty like some places tend to be. You can tell there is real attention to detail coming out of the kitchen.

Service was another big plus. Our server was friendly, patient, and knew the menu well. We never felt ignored, but also never felt like we were being hovered over. Drinks came out quickly, food timing was on point, and any questions we had were answered honestly, not in a salesy way. That alone makes a huge difference in the overall experience.

The atmosphere ties everything together. It’s a great spot for date night, catching up with friends, or even a special occassion. The music, lighting, and layout all work together to make the space feel lively but not chaotic. Even when it’s busy, it still feels well run and organized.

Overall, Karma really delivers on food, service, and vibe. It’s one of those places where you leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit. Definitely deserving of five stars and highly recommended if you’re in the Concord area and looking for a place that actually lives up to the hype.

The chinese food is decent, the sushi is pretty good, but the prices are high for the overall size and quality. A lot of things are $5-10 more than you'd expect, and they don't particularly do anything special to justify it. Fried rice is a good example of this. Even the sushi is pushing $30-35+/roll which is more than downtown Boston sushi spots, more than most places in NYC even, not seeing the justification.

The food is good but it's a bit of a rip off on portion size/volume. Price per piece of sushi/sashimi is about the same as price per order (2-3 pieces) at other restaurants and their pieces are also smaller. So expect to pay double for the same volume of food, but at least the food does taste good.

Haianese chicken is not the traditional cuisine. I'm very glad the waitress let us know when we ordered.
