Liberty at the Colonial Inn

We were seated right away at our reserved time. We had apps: roasted chili cauliflower and a flatbread pizza. The cup of chowder was small but tasted good. The steak salad was good but steak had too much gristle. The pot roast, steak frites and burger were excellent and good value for the money. Cocktails were weak but reasonably priced. The Pinot noir was perfect temperature and delicious. All in all a good meal.

Food was excellent. Staff are lovely people and always smiling and they make our visit comfortable and cozy. We'll be back soon.

A really good place with authentic colonial charm and very good food and service. Excellent value for money.

Four of us had a nice lunch. Since we were meeting 2 people we've not seen in quite a while, we did a lot of talking and the noise level in the room was a little bit loud for conversation. We stayed a long time catching up with our friends, but the staff was wonderful and did not try to rush us along. They understood that the Colonial Inn is a great meeting place for friends on a beautiful fall day.

The 2 of us had dinner in the Liberty Tavern, very small and historically quaint. The bartender took care of our drink and food order and the team brought food to our table. Within 30 minutes the place was full. The bartender juggled the entire room like a seasoned pro (along with the team bringing food out to everyone). Very impressed with the overall experience and our day visiting the area. Will be back again!

Excellent service, ambience and cuisine. I have been coming here since 1967 to celebrate my birthday. It's like coming home.

The Sunday brunch at the Colonial Inn was a highlight of our trip to Lexington/Concord. The Inn had great Colonial ambience and the food was to die for. The roast beef was tender and juicy, the omelette station had great fixings, the desserts were to die for...Clam Chowder and Shrimp Cocktail too. Just yummy!

We LOVE the Colonial Inn, especially in the fall. We had lunch on the porch, and it was delightful. I had their clam chowder (5 stars) and waldorf salad and my companion had the grilled chicken sandwich. She asked for no arugula and somehow the kitchen thought she didn't want any greens, but our waitress (who was AMAZING) checked on our food and when she saw that she went to the kitchen and brought back pesto and lettuce. That kind of attention to detail is so important! Drinks were creative and the ambience couldn't be beat - fall in Concord!

Went for lunch for the first time yesterday and will definitely be back! The service was incredible, the food was even better! The building with all the rooms is so cute and cozy. We will be back!

We dined on the porch. The weather was gorgeous. The service was very good and the food and wine were excellent. We shared the pumpkin cheesecake for dessert and it was delicious. Planning to return.

We were sat fairly quickly, waited a little over 5min. for the server to come over, but she came with waters and took our order right away. We got the Yankee pot roast and the chicken pot pie. If you were trying to decide between the two I'd go with the chicken pot pie! The flavors were perfect, very cozy meal. The pot roast was alright, tender, good flavor, but there were some dryer bits. Also the butternut squash wouldn't have been my 1st choice to go with it.

We love eating out on the patio at the Colonial Inn. My wife and I enjoyed our meals and the service provided by Melissa was truly outstanding, Looking forward to going back again - it should be especially beautifully in the Fall.
