Four of us had a nice lunch. Since we were meeting 2 people we've not seen in quite a while, we did a lot of talking and the noise level in the room was a little bit loud for conversation. We stayed a long time catching up with our friends, but the staff was wonderful and did not try to rush us along. They understood that the Colonial Inn is a great meeting place for friends on a beautiful fall day.
The 2 of us had dinner in the Liberty Tavern, very small and historically quaint. The bartender took care of our drink and food order and the team brought food to our table. Within 30 minutes the place was full. The bartender juggled the entire room like a seasoned pro (along with the team bringing food out to everyone). Very impressed with the overall experience and our day visiting the area. Will be back again!
Food is good Service was terrible - kitchen backed up and not enough servers No ambiance in the restaurant This is such a beautiful inn from the outside and in much need of a complete renovation inside
