We were warmly greeted when we arrived, and were given a choice of outside on the porch or inside dining. Our waitress was excellent and very knowledgeable about the daily menu. The Yankee pot roast and the baked scrod were both delicious, and were plated with style. I would recommend the Concord Inn as a great part of a Massachusetts experience.
I've been going to this restaurant several times a year for some time now. My fave dish is the salmon burger which has gone down slightly in quality recently. The main issue for me and my companion is the service, which was bad during our last visit at lunchtime. It took a very long time for our server to take our order, get our food, and to get our check. A side I asked for when placing my order did not arrive; it took 2 requests to others for it to finally arrive a while...
The dining room felt like we were in a cafeteria. No decor. Our food arrived before the drinks. The sangria came in short glasses, no ice. It was warm. We had to ask for ice. Overall not a great experience.
