Nosh is a local Concord hangout with casual comfort style food. We went for brunch on Sunday with live jazz, and although the music and environment was great, the food was average. Service was alright, but overall for the cost, I would've expected a higher quality dining experience. Probably a great spot to just have a drink and hang with friends.

I and many I know loved going for the live music and dancing, and sad to learn they stopped booking. It was a great place, here in the wilderness. They shoehorn in live music at Main St Cafe, but it's a tiny place, no room to dance.Quite a loss for this area. A fun desert.
This is a nuanced review of our first visit. The food was excellent. We both had chicken sammies which were excellent. Service seemed a bit hit or miss. The person who took our order never did give us cutlery or napkins, we had to get them off an adjacent table. The person who served us was not the person who we paid. The bathroom lacked a functioning hand dryer or paper towels. Much of the staff seemed to be preoccupied with hanging Christmas decorations. I'd go back again.

We needed a place to get food after an early winter paddling on the Concord/assabet rivers. We had heard of Nosh, but never stopped before. Being fairly hungry we went for the chicken Sammie.Good choice. Chicken was super crispy outside and tender and moist inside. The fries were done to perfection, hot, crisp and not over salted.Only issue we had was two 15 year olds bussing and doing set upsThey were more intent to talk than work. Eventually got everything but only after asking several times.Servers were prompt and friendly.Prices within reasonable parameters.

I had a couple hours to burn before a memorial service and found myself at Nosh. The little mall where it is located is pleasant with lots of parking. Things were quiet at lunch but that meant I got immediate service from a friendly, capable waitress. I enjoyed a steak tips sandwich with sweet potato fries, nicely presented and cooked. The food was good, the atmosphere was fine and the price was reasonable for an expensive area.

We stopped for late lunch. Able to sit outside which was nice. Service was very attentive. Nice menu. Loved the fried chicken salad. Pool tables and bar inside. Walkable from downtown Concord. Lots of parking.
Great place to enjoy live music. Staff very friendly. Food was delicious but took longer than I would have expected to arrive.

Odd experience to say the least. I was warned by locals that this place was a little awkward to navigate because there is no host stand. I thought "that's not weird, let's check it out".... I was wrong. It's discomforting to walk in and around all the seating areas and options before bumping into a person that works there. I'm not sure why you would want to invite the potential chaos. We were told we could be accommodated to sit in the dining room area, before being redirected to a table in "the game room"The servers in the restaurant were SHOUTING to guests in the restaurant about their seating choices.Witnessed a table have to go inside and request to be served, and our server kept walking away... like took 1 persons drink order, walked away. Same happened when we ordered food. Our server was no were to be found when we wanted to pay the bill, we gave our bill, card and $20 for change. We had to ask for the card back. It came back not charged, with $10 in change and missing the to-go order.I've never been to a restaurant that is so disorganized that they can't tell who paid their bill already. The to go soup was packed in a cup because they don't have to go order containers for the food on the menu. The food: always looking for decent vegetarian options, the "veggie wrap" had three pieces of zucchini and was loaded with arugula, a spot of hummus. Overall, I'm willing to pay for food that is thoughtful, delicious and not over priced. I couldn't say that about the $17 of bread and arugula marketed as a meal for non meat eaters. Jokes on the customer I guess.I hope both the front and the back of the house get it together because the concept and space is great.
