We visited here for our 27th anniversary. It was quaint and there was good service. The waitress made good recommendations. I was torn between the duck and the pork chop. I ended up getting the chop cooked medium, as was recommended to me. It was a bit tough actually and I wish I would have gotten the duck. My husband had the filet mignon and it was delicious. The prices are reasonable but higher than a regular sit down place. Things were cooked from scratch. We enjoyed our time.
Server we had didn’t do a single thing to make us ever want to come back. No lorecommendations. Didn’t pour our water once. Was MUCH more personable than the other tables in comparison to ours. Why? I haven’t a clue. But she seemed very uninterested in serving us. Took 10+min to greet us, and took forever to come clear the table after we were done eating. She wasn’t friendly. Great meal at 9 Elm. The waitress was very attentive and personable. Three of us got filet with mashed and veggies (carrots, green beans, asparagus) and one got salmon. We all loved our meals. The filet was cooked perfectly and was a great size. One of the best we’ve had in a long time. La Crema Chardonnay is a favorite and reasonably priced with a great pour. Looking forward to returning soon!
