UPDATE ON RATS AND MICE - the restaurant response is based on lies. ALL staff saw the mice when I visited. I have reported this vile restaurant to the Dedham board of health.
INFESTED WITH RATS AND MICE. They were running around the restaurant when my family was eating. Absolutely disgusting. The staff kept saying “so sorry”, and “pest control comes every 2 weeks”. But I was absolutely disgusted. Never ever visiting again. Mice in a kitchen is gross

Food had no flavor at all. Order some different items which my bill was 113 to be exact. Order veggi and house special fried rice it was white never in my life have I saw this kind of rice before, this place might be for others but for my family we did not like it at all.

It was nice. The waitress was not so nice. She spoke extremely fast and seemed bothered. I went there for their lunch specials and they didn't have it that day. No biggie. But I got general gaus chicken. Small portions for their prices but it was good .

The front desk staff was very rude. When I picked up my takeout order and asked for utensils, she said, “We are busy—you should have said it in the call.” The response was unnecessary and unprofessional. Basic requests should be handled politely, even during busy times.

On a bad streak lately of striking out at our usual go to good places. Came here tonight and had some good hit and sour soup, spring roles, and some not so good fried rice and tropical chicken. Pretty sure the chicken was canned and the sauce was bland and kind of gross. This is our go-to for Chinese so I probably will try again but this was a disappointment meal.

I have been coming her for over 10 years and today we ordered food to go for my daughters birthday. The sushi was good, however all jammed into a container. The Chinese food quality was terrible. I used to love this place and love their food but I was extremely disappointed with the quality and the taste. Let’s not mention the price, the prices are ridiculous for the quality they offer. We definitely will never be ordering Chinese from them again.
My boyfriend and I were really looking forward to trying Bamboo in Dedham, but our experience was so uncomfortable we left before even ordering food.
When we walked in, all the staff were sitting down eating, which we don’t mind at all but the hostess greeted us with no smile and literally talked to us with a mouth full of food. It already felt off, but we gave it the benefit of the doubt.
Then our server never introduced herself, made zero effort to be welcoming, and just bluntly asked, “What do you want to drink?” No warmth, no vibe, just cold energy from the start. We felt so uncomfortable we decided not to stay.
When we told the server we just wanted to pay for our drinks and leave, she snatched the menus from our hands, slammed the check on the table, and then hovered over us like we were going to run out on a $3.75 bill. It was honestly disrespectful and made us feel so judged, discriminated, and unwelcome.
We’ve never been treated like this at a restaurant before. It wasn’t just poor service, it was a vibe that made us feel like we weren’t wanted there. I never leave reviews like this but I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who expects even basic hospitality.

bald dude was super rude with me and my girlfriend, we got the place around 915 to get some to go order and he just closed the door on our faces putting his hand on the way, saying “we are closed” and saying there was people smoking inside the place as well… I don’t know why you guys have that 945 time closing on the google if ur going to have this kind of attitude with your costumers a way before you even actually close the doors.

The food was okay. The fried rice had no taste and the teriyaki beef skewers were overcooked. The service was as simple but the atmosphere was great.
