I've been to different Chipotle locations, and some look dirty and the food doesn't taste the same. I love going to the Chipotle in Detham; the food tastes delicious and fresh, and the steak portions are very generous. The staff is very friendly and professional, the manager does a great job.

Extremely Disrespectful Staff & Unsafe Food Experience

I visited the Chipotle at Dedham Mall. December 30th, 2025 around 6:00pm and had the worst service and most disappointing experience ever at a chipotle location.

I ordered a bowl with steak, and the steak I was served was visibly red, chewy, and undercooked. I have eaten at Chipotle many times, including this location and never have I seen this happen nor how the steak is usually prepared.

When I calmly asked an employee if this was really the steak, another staff member interrupted and dismissively said, “That’s how the steak comes,” which was not true based on my past visits, advertisements, and other people’s experiences. Instead of addressing my concern about food safety, she attempted to offer more of the same undercooked steak, which would not resolve the issue.

The situation became worse was with the employee’s attitude. I stated I no longer wanted the bowl because I was uncomfortable eating food that appeared unsafe.

I was told that it “didn’t matter,” that the bowl was already made, and that I had to pay the full price anyway. As someone who has worked in food service, I know customer satisfaction and food safety should come first, especially when food is undercooked.

As uncomfortable and unsatisfied I was with the situation. I wanted to just pay and get out of there and leave this review. As I payed while still expressing my disappointment, she smiled in a mocking, dismissive way, as if the situation was a joke.

This experience was unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable. I will not be returning to this location and strongly urge management to address staff training, customer service, and food safety standards.

The girl that took my order was very rude. I explained to her how I wanted my order and she still didn’t do it the way I want it so I had to repeat to her while she was doing my order twice so let her know how I wanted it, she looked at me and rolled her eyes. Then I proceeded to tell her what I wanted on the side and she walked away just rude.

This location occasionally has orders stolen from pickup (true most places). However, they are good about remaking what was taken. They have alot of doordasher folks picking up,which I assume contributes to that. Convenient location, lots of parking.

I visited the Dedham Chipotle location on 3/7 at 12:51 PM and had an extremely disappointing experience due to the rude and disrespectful behavior of one of the employees. When I asked her to place my burrito in a bowl, as it makes it easier for me and prevents the burrito from breaking, she immediately became bothered and started mocking me. Her attitude was unprofessional and disrespectful, and she acted as though my simple request was a huge inconvenience.

By the time she finished preparing my order, she was openly rude and told me to order the bowl separately. When I asked to speak with a manager, she told me she was the manager. To top it off, she charged me for a bowl instead of a burrito, which felt like another disrespectful mistake.

I hope this employee learns some respect and professionalism in the future. Before hiring people, especially for management positions, they should be properly trained on how to treat customers with dignity. I would like to formally report this incident and request an apology from this location.

It’s unfortunate that this is how my visit went, as I’ve always had positive experiences at other Chipotle locations. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future customers.

I went for a job interview, I was given an appointment of course and on the front door it says that they are recruiting people, I was made to wait more than an hour before someone came to see me to tell me that they are not recruiting at the moment, leave my number and they will call me, they have no respect for people.
