One of the best sushi I tasted and still come back after 10 years . Quality sushi, fresh, great and fast services, and always great place to dine with friends. And they do takeout as well, and quality is still great amazing.

I left $60 in cash on a $55 bill. Staff aggressively demanded I add an 18% tip, claiming it was “required,” even though the receipt clearly says “suggested.” They argued with me right there. Totally unprofessional. See attached video this is how they treat paying customers.

Never going back there. We arrived at 8:50 pm. Got out at 9:18pm. We have been asked if we chose 30 seconds after we got seated. The server came back 45 seconds after we told her we needed time to choose. The food arrived 3 minutes after that. We haven’t been asked for drinks, desserts. They were moping just next to us while eating. Without asking us for dessert they brought the check. We felt pushed out. Sushi’s and makis were warm. Worst japanese restaurant I went to so far, and I went to a lot. That is my favorite food.
I really like Genki. Every time we go there the staff is super nice, helpful, and accommodating. The atmosphere is clean and simple. I have tried lots of things on their menu, and have never been disappointed. I would very much recommend you trying this restaurant.
