Went to celebrate my child's 21st bday. Bartender was very helpful with chosing cocktails, which we very much enjoyed. The meal was delicious. We had short ribs and bolgonese. No problem getting pasta instead of gnocchi. It was all delicious. Service was attentive.

We enjoyed our meal, the ambiance, service was very good (thank you Victoria), and the food was good overall. We did provide feedback to our waitress, but since only some chefs pay attention, we'll repeat it here: I thoroughly enjoyed the Anatra, my son the short rib gnocchi, our grandson the chicken parm, but mixed reviews for the chicken stapler and risotto al gamberi; sauces and risotto (a challenge for too many chefs) were good, but the chicken and shrimp were overcooked. Disappointing.

Been here twice and it's consistently excellent. Their meatballs are fantastic and salads are fresh and balanced. Get their tiramisou for dessert. It was the best I ever had. Worth the calories. Very classy inside too.

Upscale place, very strong drinks. But the food was lacking flavor. It was very bland to me. I needed more seasonings more spice more everything. The bacon pieces on the scallop risotto were hard as hell like bacon bits not like fresh cooked bacon. Squid ink pasta was again bland I had to put salt on it and it didn’t help much. Overall the dishes are too expensive to not boast flavor.

My family and I tried Il Massimo for the first time. We chose this place considering the original location is in Providence RI and as a Rhode Islanders we were convinced this place will be great. I ordered Branzino (Mediterranean Seabass). The plate was presented well, however the amount of salt was unreal. I also ordered a side of risotto, which was also very much over seasoned. There was no balance in my dinner. I ended up feeling nauseous later in. The ambiance seems to be very dark, which always throws me off (that’s personal preference). The waiter was polite, not much personality.

To me is the best brunch place around. Very nice atmosphere, great menu and the coffee is amazing. I am a coffee picky person ha.

Kid-friendliness: My boys love the French Toast.

Server was very nice, but way over worked. My sister likes this place normally so I bumped it up a star. But the carbonara was horrible. appetizers bland

I've been a regular at Il Massimo since they opened at Legacy Place, and their lobster ravioli has always been a favorite of mine. Tonight, I arrived 45 minutes before closing, planning to get takeout. When I asked for the lobster ravioli, the waitress mentioned it’s a summer dish but said she’d ask the chef if it could be made. He agreed, so I decided to dine in instead.

After being seated, the waitress asked if I’d like an entrée, which confused me since I thought the lobster ravioli might be an appetizer-sized portion. I decided to add a scallop dish to my order. Moments later, the scallops arrived, and I asked why I was getting this dish first when I had ordered the lobster ravioli. The server went to get the waitress, who came back and insisted I had said I didn’t want the lobster ravioli. I was baffled—why would I sit down for a meal I didn’t want? I even mentioned to her earlier that it was "my lucky night" when the chef agreed to make it, so I clearly wanted the dish.

Unfortunately, there was no offer of a refund or even a hint of empathy from the waitress. In the end, I got the lobster ravioli to go, which I’m sure won’t taste as good as dining in. I hadn’t planned on buying two meals, but that's what happened. Overall, my experience left me feeling disappointed and undervalued as a customer. I’ll be taking a long break from Il Massimo after this.
