UPDATE: I showed the image I took to the protein and seafood distribution operations manager for a couple of fine dining establishments as well as many of my friends who frequent fine dining establishments as we do and the response is that the dish was clearly NOT filet mignon.
My review is honest of our experience with this restaurant.
I tried to contact the manager to address it personally and privately and was told the General Manager would call me back and of course, never did.
UGHHH!! Beware!!! They literally just served us short rib and tried to pass it off as filet mignon.
I wish I was kidding.
I have literally never thought a restaurant would be so pathetic as to do this, but guess times are hard……. lol
When we brought it up they tried to gaslight us into thinking it was a filet mignon stating they would never try to pass short rib off as filet mignon … but unfortunately for them, we have eyes.
So unprofessional and sad.

This place is good, not great, but terrible. The atmosphere is really nice. You feel fancy. They did a great job there. Wait staff is good. Food is hot or miss . Avoid the pizza. They have 2 and they taste like reheated frozen pizza. Pasta dishes are decent. Won't blow your tots off but good enough to want to come back. The mocktails are fantastic. That's a nice surprise. Solid B avoid the Pizza

Celebrated our 43rd Anniversary before going away. Great dinner experience with Victoria, Jessica, and the front desk staff!! Awesome oysters, pizzeta w figs, calamari, signature cocktails and the molten chocolate cake w gelato... really, really delicious.. thank you for making it special!!

I was very disappointed with my recent visit to Il Massimo at Legacy Place. The food itself was fine, but what ruined the experience was being charged an unexpected outside dessert fee. This charge was never mentioned anywhere in their policy, on the menu, or by the staff before we ordered. It felt very misleading, especially since no one informed us about it until the bill came.
Good service should be transparent, and customers shouldn’t be surprised by hidden charges. Because of this, I don’t feel like Il Massimo values honesty or customer trust. I would not recommend dining here unless you want to risk unexpected fees.

Ouch! I had frutti di maré. It was super hot. I kept pulling the spaghetti up to let out the heat...producing a steam bath. Unfortunately all the lovely seafood they had put in it was cooked to rubber or hardened. I kept taking bits out and putting them on a side plate to save them from overcooking in the heat...but in the end I just got a few well blown on pieces for $42. They can't have had a proper cook. No cook would do that to seafood. They absolutely nuked it or left it in a hot oven. Service great. Drinks good. Atmosphere great. Food cremated.

Was there to celebrate a birthday with family. The atmosphere was great. Ambience was great for a Romantic date too. The food was excellent. The presentation of the food was excellent. And the service was spectacular. Xavier W. was our server and he was fantastic. He knew the menu so well. He gave us some excellent recommendations and pairings. He was very professional in how he helped us. He was not intrusive and nothing was wanting in our table. The manager was also very friendly and accommodating, his name is Simo Amane. We had a great time and we will be back there for sure.
