Used to go to the Oakdale Diner all the time, and was worried when they were being replaced.
Nothing to worry about, because Johnny Pockets is fantastic! Interior was renovated as well; clean environment, great food, fair prices, friendly staff.

$20.00 for just a burger, no fries no drinks, bread was burnt black and overall underwhelming.
A colleague I was with paid $14.00 for 2 slices and a canned soda.
Another fellow walked in to pick up his order as I was waiting for my overpriced burger, he was told he did not pay extra for his drinks despite placing what most food places would consider a combo order.
Come by if you want to throw away some cash..

Loved it! We stopped on a whim and had the absolute best experience! The staff and owner are beyond amazing and super sweet. We just got pizza and fries cause we were with the kids but I can't wait to stop back and get one of those amazing looking pockets. I watched a few be assembled and they looked absolutely delicious. The pizza was great and the French fries were super crispy. We all enjoyed it very much so and we'll be back again soon. Thanks to Johnny & the crew!!
