Disappointed in the last meal, the food was under seasoned quite bland. Unfortunate as I'd really enjoyed this restaurant in the past their physical makeover seems to be correlated with horse food.

It was one of those nights where everything came together nicely. A perfect table location, a patient server, delicious food, a reasonable noise level, and most importantly the company we were with!

As we told our server, the famous clam chowder, which I have had over 50 times over the years, was not very good. Had a funny taste and was not up to LSF standards. And my wife's sole was dry and overcooked. We have been going to LSF for over 35 years and this was not a good experience.

its not a Legal C Bar, since its reopening, its supposed to be a regular Legal Seafood ! requested a booth on the reservation but upon arrival, they could not accommodate us, telling us that was reserved for a bigger party. The food was ok, although the beans were amazing, that was the best part of the whole meal, our server never introduced himself and was not friendly, it felt like just give me your order, i am busy! the pasta was ok with the shrimps as was the crab cake, the oysters rockefeller were mediocre! about 10 mins through dinner we noticed that the booth we had requested only had 2 people and were surprised! on the whole we felt that there are better restaurants in Legacy where our business would be more welcomed. the music was terrible, the loud and we could not tell what was playing it was that loud. i might give it another shot in a few months but there are better places in this area,

We were there for lunch. I had the kale/strawberry/watermelon salad. Lots of limp kale and lettuce. Not much watermelon, just a few pieces of over-ripe strawberries. Not very good

Our waiter was terrific. Very attentive and friendly. But the food was just ok. There were four of us and all of us felt the same. I (and my friends) am a regular at Legal Seafoods (going to several different locations in MA). This was the first time we were not impressed with the food. It's usually excellent! Maybe just a bad night.

Amazing experience at Legal this weekend. Joanne our waitress remembered us from our last visit. So nice to see her again. She recommend the halibut special, it was amazing! Thank you for a great night!

Food and service good. Cocktails were horrible. Espresso martini tasted like coffee flavored whisky and too sweet. Margarita undrinkable.
Made a last minute reservation for a late night dinner. Food and service were good. Enjoyed the whole belly clams!

Wow! This location just reopened after renovations, it is refreshing for Legal to have redone the dining room, reinvigorate the menu with some new things to try. The service was warm and friendly; without being oversolicitous ... truly an enjoyable meal and evening. Be sure to make a reservation... it was packed and got good reason!

Legal Seafood used to be my husband and I favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, it's not like it use to be. After trying numerous times and at different locations, in hopes it will be better but the food still lacks what it used to be. Our server this time had no personality. She was not welcoming, friendly, or attentive. She barely cleared our tables. I shouldn't have to make our table look neat and stack up dirty plates and put it aside for her to notice so she can take it away. We have decided to not go back. Sad to say.

Sadly the service was terrible. We had a 7:30 reservation, we got to restaurant at 7:15. There was a 45 minute wait for our table. We sat at the bar, excellent service. Then show a table and service didn't come soon thereafter, so returned to the bar to order our dinner. That service was excellent. Will be a long time before we return to Legal Sea Food in Dedham. The Braintree Legal Sea Food is much better!
