The food was decent , There was no WOW factor. Staff was attentive and very responsive. Nothing bad to say about the service. My kids seem to enjoy their meals.

Place looked a bit dirty and tables with eaten plates of food. The ambiance was basic and Didn't smell like good food when we walked in. Waited about 50 minutes for food and it wasn't busy. Food was ok nothing I couldn't have made myself. Way over priced at this location. Music was good though!

Overall ambience was great, and their efforts to celebrate my birthday was a nice touch. Main dishes were fantastic but I was disappointed by the raw bar. We ordered half shell oysters and they were not properly prepared— hard to separate from shell/swallow easily. Minor— but still inconvenient

I'm still not sure what the difference between Legals and Legal C is...one might think Legal C is a step below Legals, but I'm not sure as the quality and the pricing IMO are similar. We got seated quickly and the service overall was pretty good. We were a group of 4 and in no hurry. Food was good. I say put some white table cloths on each table and rebrand this place as Legals. Dinner for 4 people was $360 (w tip)

Unacceptable staff 1. My 1 year old spilled water on the ground and when I told the waiter he brought me floor towels and left them on the table as if I am supposed to clean the floor 2. It was a birthday, I asked them to put a candle so we can sing. They agreed and just didn’t do it. Just brought the desert out with nothing 3. When I told the front desk that I told them it was a birthday, the women said she told the waiter and “it’s good to get it off your chest” about my frustrations of it not getting done.
Never again, especially for a $400 meal for 4 people with no drinks.

This is a great restaurant with so many great choices for all tastes. Our group had the Fisherman’s Platter, Clam Chowder, Lobster Roll, Rainbow Trout, and the Crab Cake Combo. We also enjoyed the Red Sangria and Sake. It was all very good. The service was excellent. Great atmosphere.

Stopped here for a late lunch today with my friends. We ordered the red sangria....was fantastic! I started with a cup of chowder that was delicious and had a house salad with blackened salmon. It was prepared to perfection. My friends loved thier food as well. Our waitress Jen was a true professional. The great food and wonderful service we experienced today deserved my time to post this review.

We often dine in and occasionally take out. The food and service are always great. We had a small mishap in our takeout order recently and the staff and manager were excellent to us. Still one of our favorite places to eat.
It still does what Legal does best. Fresh local seafood. Not too inventive, but tradition counts. They've added sushi as an update. Their Gluten Free rolls are amazing. AND you can get a GF lobster roll! Heaven. Salads crisp & fresh. They will tailor make food to your dietary needs. They've been around a long time. I remember when they sold tee-shirt that said: I got scrod last night at Legal Seafood. I remember their tiny market in Cambridge. We've gotten old together. Thank you Legal's !

We had the most delightful experience tonight at Legal in Dedham! Not only were the servers wonderfully kind and attentive with us, but they also handled a challenging pair of customers next to us at the bar with grace and patience! We will definitely be back, especially if Carla is working!!!
And as always, despite gluten and shellfish allergies, I felt totally safe enjoying my meal and incredible red sangria 😊
