Opposite a table of 18 office retirement party. Drinks and loud near our table with two children

Very good experience here. Four of us for dinner. Salmon, swordfish, haddock casserole, fish tacos. All very good. Waitress was excellent. Arrived at 5:30 and very few customers, left after 7:00 and the place was full, including every seat at the bar. Reservations are a must. This was a Wednesday night.

Our waitress was definitely overwhelmed. Took forever to even come to our table and then took even longer to get our drinks and bread. Very inattentive. Food was good but not worth the bad service

Not so happy with the service to be honest as it was quite slow Food is delicious and the vibe is also good

Our dining experience was excellent. Service was expeditious and our Server, John, was very professional and attentive. He presented professionally and was pleasant. John responded to our questions and accommodated fulfilled our request for specific changes to our meals. We will return for dinner. The environment was pleasant and clean. Our greeter was extremely helpful and held the door for my friend who has ambulatory issues. ll staff were very accommodating. We would recommend Legal C to our friends and family.

Food was good. Had to ask server three times for bread otherwise everything was good but not great. Went to have oyster special and that was good and would return for that.

Jen was fantastic with our group of coworkers that came to Legal C for a team dinner. She took us through the menu, made excellent recommendations, and rolled with the team's cascading requests for food and drink. Thanks for the hospitality!

Terrible! Last night was a total failure. My mom ordered the filet mignon, which was tough and chewy. She couldn't eat it. The miso glazed carrots had with sesame seeds had no miso and no sesame seeds. I ordered the salmon with corn salsa, and avocado creama topping. The creama was spread on the entire plate and ice cold, which made everything cold. The worst part of the night was the service. It took a half an hour before we received our first drink. They weren't that busy. Our server was missing the whole night and twice, I had to get up to look for him. He apologized and said he was very busy with a family table of young children, and then disappeared again. Finally a hostess came over and noticed my mom hadn't eaten her food and offered a replacement. The fried fish and chips was delivered just as my husband and I were done with our meal. Our second drink was delivered right before the bill was dumped at the table. And again, our server ran away, but not before complaining about the family with children. This is honestly the very first time I have ever left a negative review but the complete disregard was very disappointing. I did tell both the server and the hostess that the entire experience was horrible. The hostess said she would tell the manager, but it was out of her control. She could have tried offering a complementary dessert or beverage but didn't bother. My mom never ate her meal but they charged us anyway. We never saw any manager. There are way too many other great restaurants at Legacy Place.

Have yet to be disappointed by the food or service. Ashley, our server, was attentive and friendly.

Understaffed, hard rolls & croutons you couldn't eat waitress never refilled our water, my second drink order came when I was 95% thru my meal , I've been a legal fan for years.,,very disappointed!

The food and service were excellent. We were so disappointed to see that the patron margarita is no longer on the menu. The new one is not nearly as good - it's comparable to koolaid. PLEASE bring back the old recipe. It was the best marg in the country!

It was very busy for a Thursday evening. Also loud and could barely hear the people we were with. The drinks took a long time to come where we were wondering what happened. They could have had more staff to not make the wait so long.

Unfortunately, legal seafood has gone downhill and/or it looks like they don't really care at the Dedham location what they're putting out. Maybe they believe the clientele isn't discerning enough. It is in contrast the experience we've had in the Seaport in Boston, for example, which seems to career or upscale and seems to take it product more seriously. For example, our calamari and the fried seafood platter were way way over-fried. Quahog stuffies were tasty but undersized and emphasized the breading over the quahog itself. Service was friendly enough but super slow: it was 20 minutes before anyone even came to our table initially and then It literally took another 45 for our drinks to arrive, so it was over one hour overall from the time we sat down to get a drink. Food then predictably came before our drinks actually in the end. And when we ordered a glass of wine it didn't show up until basically dessert. And it was not the glass we asked for, but a more expensive one. They were kind enough to comp the whole first round of drinks, which I do appreciate given the fact that we waited forever. But unfortunately it isn't what it used to be. I guess this is what happens when you become a big national chain. I wouldn't go back to this location.

The food as always was tasty and hot. Service was great. We had not been to Legal C in a few years and were disappointed to find the place dirty and tired looking.
