Went there for a small (8 people) office party a few weeks before Christmas. Oscar's is charming in every way. Think English pub meets New England. The food was excellent, with several gluten-free options. Cozy atmosphere with several burning fireplaces. Perfect for a small, casual office party or a charming night out. Will go back at every opportunity.

This is a great little place. They have a wood burning fireplace on one side of the bar, super cozy, and a gas fire on the other. Drinks are moderately priced. Staff was very friendly and welcoming to a newcomer. Stop on over and check them out!

This was our first time by chance. Enjoyed the atmosphere, people, and food. Excellent food preparation. Simple well chosen ingredients. Prepared and presented with care. This was a wonderfully unexpected experience. We ordered the ham&cheese, salmon&bagel plate, and ended with the chocolate mousse. My martini was spot on. I would highly recommend Oscar's. Larry & I always enjoy our visits to Oscars. We’re never disappointed by the food or the drinks & the service is always outstanding. (Thank you Katherine; you lifted my spirits after a day of particularly disturbing news)
However, last night’s meal went way beyond the usual wonderful.
Reason: We ordered Pork Pot Roast: braised pork shoulder served atop savory mushroom bread pudding and positioned on a parsnip purée. A sage Demi glaze topped-it off. Bravo!

Beyond exceeded our expectations!! We honestly thought we were walking into a pub and just going to have some good drinks and pub-like food. Catherine (our waitress) was an absolute delight and gave us a warm welcome as new Canadian tourists. The food was stellar, I had the salmon with soba peanut noodles, and my friend had the steak tips. Catherine and my friend both had birthdays that day and it was such a wholesome and pleasant atmosphere. We were given a delicious caramel ban-offee pie for dessert. You truly get what you pay for when you come here.
The food and service at Oscar’s was fabulous! My husband and I are visiting Dedham and Boston for the first time. We live in Denver, Colorado. We have enjoyed learning about the history of our country. Oscar’s is an awesome place to eat in Dedham. We ate at Legal Seafood in Boston, and it did not come close to Oscar’s in food and service! Thanks, Oscar’s!

What a wonderful experience! The food and service were both outstanding. Nick, our server was very attentive, but did not hover. Food was hot and delicious. Drinks were a generous pour and good value.
The owner, Michael, stopped by to make sure everything was good. Friendly and accommodating, he made us feel very much welcomed. Be sure to get his mother's recipe Brandee for desert. I and all in our party look forward to returning again soon!
