Tahiti Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge

Nice restaurant and the service wasn’t bad. We didn’t like that the dining room was so dark that we couldn’t read the menu and the light bulb above our table kept blinking dim and dimmer. Food could’ve tasted fresher although it was served hot. In all, not bad.

The place was a basic asian restaurant, I went for a birthday party so we was in the party room. It’s towards the back, but the food was amazing. It was fresh and I enjoyed everything. Well I didn’t get to enjoy much because the other guests who was there before me kept eating and eating……… and eating so much that I was only able to get a little tiny portion. I will definitely go back with a group of friends for the food, but unfortunately, there’s no clubs in Dedham so damn. i’ll bring someone there for their birthday.

Not fancy, but lots of seating available, and it has seating at a small bar. Good for Thanksgiving and Christmas, when except for McDonald's, all other restaurants are closed!

Chicken fingers tasted old and dry crab ragoon was ok still tasted old hot and sour soup it use to be good there really thick with a inlay of burnt taste i was not allowed to return the food a couple of bites were taken from it waste of money duck sauce taste like they water it down rude people

Food is almost the same prices went up and portions on some items are significantly smaller. I ordered the regular lomein and to go and it was in a small rectangular to go package. I was disappointed. Ive been eating here for 30 PLUS years. Lomein to go always use to come in the same to go as fried rice. The traditional Chinese thank you to go box. The lo mein order use to easily feed 4 people. The new regular portion is only enough for 1 person.

Horrible experience i was there today, my third time there I ordered lomein with no vegetables the waiter proceeded to laugh and make fun of mee, but that wasnt it they come out with chow mein some soggy vegetables looked gross I told him i didnt order this and instead of him switching it he went to talk to his boss, she approached my table and said since we are not regulars he had to explain the difference im like again i didnt order chow mein i want lomien that simple it was just a rude comment to say we aint regular so what appreciate whoever goes to your restaurant food was not the best also the rush to makeit and not even hot enough never again!!! Make sure anyone who goes there is regular!! Cuz they wont respect youuuu

The food is amazing, service is prompt and it’s everything you want from a restaurant that feels like a beautiful time capsule. All that being said the drinks are absolutely terrible and seem to be an after thought. I’m not even saying make individual drinks but just put some effort into it and I swear this place would be perfect.

If I could give no stars, I woul. Under new management. Crab Rangoon had no (even nonartficial) crab. When I tried to send it back, I was told I’d have to oay half to cover their cost. Then she said if I didn’t like it, that was my problem.

We have been going to Tahiti for years. They have accommodated several family events for us over the years. The staff was great but the food was kind of stale. Don’t get me wrong-an elegant eatery it’s not. But usually the food has been very good-think old school Chinese/Polynesian. Could have been an off night.
