Tahiti Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge

It's exactly what you would expect for a Chinese place like this. It's better than it might seem from the outside. The food is worth it, the drinks were off for our visit. The Mai Tai was the best drink we had today.

When in with a party of 4. Tipped roughly 15% which was generous considering the service, there were no other parties in the area besides us. The waitress then came back to the table to demand a better tip. We felt so awkward we did end up giving her more but I wish we hadn’t. The food was cold overpriced and bland and was charged for an app we didn’t receive. Management seemed not to care when we tried to call afterwards about the experience. Incredibly rude and ungrateful, wont be dining here again.

Old school place, retro in all the right ways. Went for lunch and we shared a pupu platter and most of it was very good. The chicken fingers were a little over breaded and under seasoned but other than that, the food was good. Prices were reasonable and the service was good. Hadn't been here in over 20 years and although it's changed , it still has the same vibe !

One of the absolute worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Service was no stars.
We were a group of 10 and the waitress could not have been any less attentive.
She would come over to the table and go to take a drink order or food order, then would say, “hold on” and would walk to another table to take their order before returning.
It wasn’t even busy so it was very bizarre.
She acted as though she didn’t want to be bothered.
Half the time we could see her in the dining area talking with other employees while we were waiting for service.
The food finally arrived (because it took forever to get her to simply take the order) and everyone at the table who had chicken wings with their order discovered they were still red and raw inside.
When we had to send it back, because it’s clearly a safety issue, she appeared annoyed.
Our drinks set empty half the time because we were only able to order cocktails when we flagged her down.
Overall, the food that was cooked properly wasn’t that great and the service was a disgrace.
I understand everyone has bad days, but this was absurd.
It’s too bad too. We’re a fun group that tips generously. Could have been a great night for her tip wise if she’d only bothered to do her job.

Place is awful. Avoid this place for food. Went with my friend and the waiter got my friend's order wrong and refused to fix it. When I paid, my friend tried saying to the cashier they got his order wrong and the waiter came out yelling about how I didn't tip her, so it's fine she didn't fix the issue. I paid before she said that. Completely unprofessional. Food sucked too.

Excellent pork wonton soup , fever & delicious beef & broccoli with terryaki and pork fried rice daily special.

Place needs a good cleaning and food is tasteless it would really be nice if they had some help to make the place better really a nice place but definitely needs updating.

I ordered $111 worth of food, I left $125 on the table, the server then decided to not let me leave until I gave him another $10 in tips, there is no where stating a minimum percentage for tips nor is tips even required. He then as we were getting ready to get our left overs to leave, he then decided to rush us out and say “hurry up I need to clean the table”. If I could leave 0 stars I would

I have had better Chinese food. Cool little lounge to chill with your friends.. definitely can seat a large party. The staff is pretty friendly and very attentive.. The food is just OK. They make very strong drinks. They’re my Thai, are the best.

Very good clean asian food. Best fried rice and chicken wings in town. All the food is good egg foo yong salt and pepper lobster etc. Ok I am done. I am about to head back lol
