Tavern in the Square Dedham

All of us enjoyed our respective meals. I had the chopped Greek salad with chicken. Salad was nicely chopped, great dressing, and the chicken was tasty and tender. It was a nice day and sitting near the open windows/doors was delightful.

Music played way too loud. It should be subtle in the background. Every table has a speaker directly above. Sorry to say I did leave as there was no need for the loudness when no one was there but my friend and I.

This restaurant is a real hit in my book. Great menu with lots of choices. The service is always excellent and the teamwork vibe works well.

Under the radar birthday meal. Fish tacos and Korean chicken sandwich are deelish. As are their parm fries. Cocktails are always amazing. Tried the bananas foster old fashioned. Great! Just a hint of banana. Not too sweet

As usual, our server, John was a delight. Food was great. As a new prediabetic, I wish there were a few more "low carbohydrates" options.

EXCELLENT SERVICE, GOOD NICE EMPLOYEES. Food not great--steak tips for us not good. Noise WAY TOO LOUD...can NOT hear even the person sitting across fr you in a booth. ah well But will say the mgmt very attentive....food just not that good. fries good. :)

Had a great lunch with the family. Lots of choices, tasty food, and very friendly and attentive staff.

Tavern in the Square has gluten free options. This was a deciding factor in choosing this restaurant. The food was served warm. All of our party was satisfied with their food.

We went at lunch time on a weekday. Service was great, food was promptly delivered and noise was what you'd expect for a busy lunch time. Will definitely be back!

We are at the bar. Food and drinks were great. They had 3 bartenders that were not great at checking in. We had to waive them over a few times. We have notice the bar service lacks here before.

This is a very nice Tavern in the Square. We will be returning to this one. The table behind us was very energetic (all adults) but the food and wait staff was great. I believe her name was Marissa. She was kind, friendly, and attentive.

I would not go back. I had reservations, but they sat us in the bar area, which was way too loud, crowded and the seating uncomfortable. We were bumped by parties sitting behind us trying to get out of their chairs. It took a long time to receive drinks after ordering them. At one point, the waitress tried to take my drink before I finished it. I nearly slipped multiple times on a wet floor trying to walk to/from the restrooms. Overall, not a great spot to catch up with friends if you actually want to hear what they're saying.

Our new go-to family spot. There is something for everyone on this menu!! And the quality of the food is superb, from kids meals to poke bowls! The whole family loves this spot!!

We were there for lunch on a Friday and the restaurant was pretty busy. We were seated right away, and were then greeted by our server, Nicole. She was great from beginning to end, giving us the extra time we needed to decide what we wanted and checking on us throughout the meal. She didn't hover and didn't leave us wondering where she was despite the restaurant staying busy the entire time we were there. The food was great with everything cooked as ordered and the flavors coming through in every bite.

Our server rushed us to order and rushed us to leave. Never smiled once. We enjoyed each other's company regardless but she almost ruined our experience! Please look into who it was... she went as far as to clear our water cups while we we were still seated at the table. We left at 9:10pm it wasn't like the place was closing!!! We were a party of 5 all ordered entrees sides and cocktails- she could have got a nice tip out of us is she was pleasant. Very disappointed.
