Temazcal Tequila Cantina

Went here for a family dinner and overall it was a good experience. The wait staff were so nice and the food came out in an okay amount of time, the complimentary chips and salsa always help.

TACOS MECHADOS
Braised short rib, pickled cabbage, avocado, crema fresca, pico de gallo, flour tortilla. Flavorful and generously filled. The short rib was tender and the toppings added a nice balance.

BIRRIA TACOS
Beef birria on crisp grilled tortillas with grilled corn, onion, shredded cheese, radish, cilantro. The flavors were bold, but they were a little too salty for my liking. The rice and beans that came with it were amazing though. The Mexican rice was honestly the best I have ever had.

SHRIMP CEVICHE
Made with cucumber, tomato, onion, jalapeño, cilantro, avocado, yucca crisp. Fresh and bright, but definitely could have used more shrimp. It felt a little too heavy on the vegetables.

Despite a few things I would tweak, it was a nice night overall. The staff made the experience warm and the portions were generous.

small bar not very social, slow wait staff who make mistakes, maybe better if u sit at table in back but as single guy do not come here zzzz boring and overpriced, parking also a bugger even with huge lot lol ---- 21d25 fajitas was pile of pily onions, got quesadilla checick to recover and they laoded it with onions sen tback finall got decent but funky looking meat FOOD bad

Terribly rude bartender! Two of us sat at the bar to grab a drink before seeing a movie and had to deal with an awful attitude from the bartender simply because I asked her how much our drinks were when we received the check. I was just shocked to see that 2 shots and 2 tequila with soda water cost $100! I didn’t think it was an unreasonable question given the fact that a regular cocktail or margarita on the on the menu is priced at $15 but each of our drinks were $25. I was immediately met with an attitude and eye rolls and then proceeded to watch her trash talk us to a busboy (who was friendly) as if we weren’t within earshot. She shouldn’t be front facing if she’s going to be nasty to customers for no reason! I’ve been here several times with no issue but for sure won’t be coming back. In today’s world, it is definitely not worth the expensive drinks with a side of unnecessary attitude. I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

Loved the food. Also wanted to leave a special thank you to the host, Gavin Davis. He was incredibly kind and very thoughtful with his service. We were sat right behind the host table and he often came over to chat with us and answered all of our questions.

The drink was good. But the food was not, We order a Birria Taco and on the first bite we found a piece of cardboard box (We ate halve of the piece showing at the pic.) and the chicken in the quesadilla was not fresh . The waitress was very diligent and apologized. The manager was something else, he didn't looks worry about the situation. Just came to ask what we found in the food, say sorry and said that he will talk with the chef and That's it. Mistakes happen and that it's understandable but, when is not consideration from who supposed to take care of the business and client satisfaction is when you take know that is not a place to go with your family and friends.

Food was rough. Do not go for authentic Mexican cuisine, it will be dry and tough to eat. American music over a Mexican beat. Avoid this restaurant.

We used to love this place, but after yesterday’s experience, we won’t be coming back. The food quality has gone downhill. My husband ordered the Temazcal Mixtas Grill, but nothing on the plate resembled anything grilled — the chicken was rubbery, the beef was bland, and the whole dish looked like it had just been microwaved.
The Queso Fundido was tasty, but the portion was incredibly small compared to what we’ve had here before. The bowl used to be about three-quarters full, but this time it was barely half-filled, looking more like leftovers than a fresh serving.
The grilled chicken tacos were soggy and tasteless. We were so disappointed — needless to say, we won’t be returning. There are plenty of better restaurants in the area that deserve our business.

The drinks and food here are delicious (especially the bean dip that comes with the chips)! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive and our food came out fast

I had a confirmed reservation at Temazcal Legacy Place that was unexpectedly canceled upon arrival, despite confirming it earlier. Very disappointing experience and poor communication from the staff.

The ambiance was incredibly satisfying, with dim lighting and a playlist that blended salsa, merengue, and pop culture music. The staff was exceptional, providing exceptional service and attention. We celebrated our birthday there, and it was very pleasant experience. We had such a great time that we didn’t even think about taking pictures!

Yesterday, on August 20th, I visited the bar with a friend. Unfortunately, the service from the bartender was appalling. She was preoccupied with socializing at the end of the bar and completely neglected her responsibilities to the paying customers. Despite my usual generous tipping, the poor service from the female bartender was simply unacceptable.
