Temazcal Tequila Cantina

The ambiance was incredibly satisfying, with dim lighting and a playlist that blended salsa, merengue, and pop culture music. The staff was exceptional, providing exceptional service and attention. We celebrated our birthday there, and it was very pleasant experience. We had such a great time that we didn’t even think about taking pictures!

Yesterday, on August 20th, I visited the bar with a friend. Unfortunately, the service from the bartender was appalling. She was preoccupied with socializing at the end of the bar and completely neglected her responsibilities to the paying customers. Despite my usual generous tipping, the poor service from the female bartender was simply unacceptable.

The service at temezcal was flattering to say the least. however the real issue with our meal occurred as soon as we sat at the table and took a sip of water. The taste was concerning … undrinkable. Like they forgot to remove the cleaning product from the glass.

I’m only giving this a one star because the manager has a huge napoleon complex… little guy ran around screaming at servers and mistreating the staff- think his name was Pablo. Seriously upsetting to see because everyone else was so nice. Ruined my dinner.

Slow Service and Poor Drink Quality

Visited Tamazcal Dedham recently and was really disappointed. It took 25 minutes just to get a Margarita drink, and when it finally arrived, it had no tequila flavor, no mix, and not even a lime. I asked for a replacement, and that took another 20 minutes—still no improvement in quality.
Service was very slow and inattentive, with no one checking in or acknowledging the delay. For a place that markets itself as upscale, the experience fell far short. Sadly, won’t be coming back unless there are major improvements.

Had the best time ever for my friends bday dinner! We had great guac, fresh calamari ( tossed in a yum sauce), also the chips were perfectly salted! Drinks were also great! Can’t forget to mention the incredible service. Our host Roni was super friendly and made sure we got our complementary birthday dessert. Also, great server as well!! Thanks Dakota and Roni for making sure we enjoyed our night!!!

Ordered takeout… spent $75 and ordered guacamole. Got home and there’s no chips. I called and was told it doesn’t come with chips LOL. When has anyone ever spent $15 on guacamole to eat with their bare hands. The manager Pablo continued to argue with me over the phone about it, saying i should’ve separately ordered chips and salsa if i wanted chips. Refused to refund me for the guacamole. Anytime I’ve ordered guacamole in person they’ve always given me chips. Will absolutely never dine here again. Horrible customer service and spending $15 for a scoop of guacamole and nothing to eat it with is a total ripoff.

A Must-Try Culinary Gem at Temazcal Tequila Cantina restaurant!
As a regular at the mall for my weekly food shopping and errands, I often pass by Temazcal Tequila Cantina restaurant, but it was only recently that I decided to stop in for dinner. Let me tell you, the meal did not disappoint!
I opted for the fish taco meal, which offers both blackened and fried options. When I asked my fantastic waitress, Taylor, if I could have one of each, she happily checked with the chef, who graciously obliged! Kudos to both the chef and Taylor for their excellent service. Taylor's recommendation of the fish taco meal was spot on. The tacos are generously sized, making the meal, which comes with rice and black beans, incredibly filling.
And for dessert? Taylor recommended their fried ice cream, a true blast from the past for me as I haven't seen it on a menu in over 15 years! Naturally, I had to try it, and it was absolutely delicious.
I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu, especially if Taylor has more recommendations up her sleeve!

I got birria tacos here and they were the worst birria tacos I ever had no flavor they were dry I took a bite and didn't eat them then I got elotes - NO chili powder NO cheese - just corn covered in mayo. What kind if Mexican restaurant serves that?
