Decent breakfast/brunch spot in an outdoor mall type location. The sort of 50s vibe was ok, maybe a little gaudy for my liking.
My fried chicken sandwich was pretty good, wasn't blown away but it was tasty. Staff was nice too, a little confusion around an allergy issue I had, but they got it worked out.

The breakfast was a regular one, and you could get it anywhere. Normal. The place decor is not to my liking; it is overwhelmed with retro decor and too much color. It's perhaps appealing to kids. I live with mimosas at brunch, but the ratio of children to drinks will win. As a first timer, I learned that you must time eating and chatting with friends or family. You only have 2 hours to get it done; otherwise, the Manager will come to your table to get moving, which I understand (somehow). It is loud or noisy inside. Be prepared to wait. They use Yelp for reservations. I don't know if it works since we got there without reservations. I didn't find them in OpenTable, so I used Yelp. Will I go back? No, unless someone invites me.

I had gochugiang fried chicken sandwich for breakfast. It was delicious. Other people in my party had corned beef hash Benedict. Hash brown was crisp on the outside at the same time creamy on the inside. Coffee was fresh and hot. Melissa was an attentive and efficient server. She was very sweet.

Minus 1 star because the food portions for the price of food is abysmal. Don’t get me wrong, food is tasty, but $21 for 2 tiny pieces of half a chicken strip (so likely 1 chicken strip sliced into 2 pieces) on a cordon bleu Benedict should be illegal. It was similar with our other orders.
Don’t get the mimosa flight or any other flight. Practically give you four 2oz cups filled with mostly ice, no wonder it tasted watered down.
Also don’t get the maple bourbon cold brew cocktail. It tasted like a watered down mocktail and for $16, you get barely 8oz. It supposedly has coffee liquor, but absolutely no flavor of coffee whatsoever. Couldn’t tell if they forgot the bourbon, but I couldn’t taste a hint of bourbon.
2 stars only because the service was great and on a Friday morning there was no wait.
Save yourself the trip and patron elsewhere where you’ll get immensely better value for your hard-earned money.

This was my first time at Friendly Toast, and the vibe was wonderful. It’s got a cutesy, green themed spunky vibe. The flights are so cute and cool, they have so many options- with the margarita, mimosa, and espresso flights! The hash quiche was so yummy. The florentine Benny was decent- I’ve had better and worse at places. The only disappointing part was the overcooked poached egg. You must visit though! It is a very solid spot :)

I really enjoyed my brunch here today. The menu selections vary from creative to classic. If you are food adventurous there is more than enough to excite your palate. If you prefer traditional brunch they have got you covered as well.
Drink selections also range from creative to traditional with cocktails and mocktails for those who prefer a sober dining experience.
The service was good and the waitress was attentive.
The atmosphere is really fun with an eclectic diner theme. This is a must try!

Family of 4 visited on father's day. I joined the waitlist before going which helped alot and didn't have to wait much. I've dined in the one in chestnut Hill and back bay. This is one nice and has ample space. Decor is really cool. Food was also a hit with everyone and mimosas were great.

3.5 stars. Run of the mill brunch fare. The free maple syrup bottle for pancakes is cute. Staff is friendly and the food came quick.

Came in for breakfast and it was delicious! I had the new special breakfast sandwich without the spicy stuff. Yummy and filling. Looking forward to coming back and trying some more of the new menu and specials.

The waitress was rushing us to eat, and the food was warm not hot. Like it was sitting under a warmer. My drink was made wrong 100% wrong..

This was my first time ordering from The Friendly Toast in Dedham, and I was beyond impressed! I placed a pickup order online, and they went above and beyond with their customer service. They had a couple of questions about my order and took the time to call and confirm—such a thoughtful touch that shows they really care about getting things right.
The food was absolutely delicious, and everything was packaged so neatly and carefully. I especially loved the adorable little maple syrup container—it was such a fun and charming detail!
My husband and I can’t wait to come back and dine in soon. If the takeout experience was this good, I can only imagine how great it will be in person. Highly recommend!
