Food was great until we started eating with a small rat next to us out in the open. I notified waitress and manager who was very kind but didn't offer to even discount the food that we didn't finish after we spent 20 mins waiting and trying to prevent him from running out to the open of the restaurant and causing mass hysteria. Not cool!

Not crowded on a Tuesday motning. I was alone so ate at bar. Friendly and attentive service. I enjoyed one of their signature omelets and home fries were delicious. Loved their unique Maple Turmeric Hot Sauce. Wish I lived in the area so I could return more often.

Although the place is clean with cheerful decor, and our waitress was nice, the food is overpriced and the portions are small. I ordered a Cobb Salad, for $18, which was a disgrace. It was the size of a side salad, with literally scraps of deli turkey and ham and 1 hard boiled egg (cut in half). No advocado, no bacon, no blue cheese (or any other kind of cheese), no grilled chicken. When the waitress asked if everything was ok, I said no, this is not a Cobb salad, and explained what a Cobb salad is supposed to be. I was nice and said it wasn't her fault. She promptly went in the back, I assumed to speak to the chef, to make it better. She came out with nothing to offer. I told her it was ok, that I would never order that again, and in fact, would probably not return. Apparently that was fine with the Friendly Toast. By the way, my husband wants me to include that his coffee was good. So I'm saying that now. But his "make your own omelette" turning out to be about $20 for a very small omelette with probably only 2 eggs and very little cheese. We will not return!

Here’s an example of a review summarizing positive feedback for a breakfast restaurant:
Amazing Breakfast Spot!
This place is a gem! The menu is diverse, catering to every preference, from classic comfort food to healthier options. The food is fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. I especially loved the fluffy pancakes and perfectly brewed coffee!
The staff is warm, attentive, and efficient, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The decor is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect place to start the day. Even during busy hours, service was quick and organized.
Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a delightful breakfast experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The service was rated five stars for a while, but not anymore. The kitchen claims they’re too busy to make omelets, even though eggs take the same amount of time to cook. It’s just an extra two minutes, yet I have to eat my eggs the way they decide, not the way I want. Is that really good service? Also, I have to pay for syrup—something even McDonald’s doesn’t charge for. Coming from a restaurant background, this is disappointing.

This is one of my favorite places to go to eat breakfast. I already started visiting this place in Kendall Square and now I’m so happy that they have one in Denham Legacy place. The atmosphere is nice. The food is great and the people are always nice and friendly.. One of the best places, I know

I would of given more stars but the manger was not friendly, I let them know that I had a orbit allergy, the manager brought out what I ordered did not look at me or say anything as far like hey here's your food and acknowledged that they took care the allergy, my pancakes were cold and I asked them can I have a warm up or fresh ones they made fresh ones the same manager brought my food out slid my pancake's across the table, no eye contact or no words were said again and he quickly walked away!! It's Friday February 8th, my apartment caught fire yesterday and we wanted breakfast. So we came hoping for a friendlier encounter.. ion know if was cause of my skin tone or what. In any case I hope he has better day 2/8/25 10:47am

I like the place, staff is friendly, the food is good and bar drinks ok....but the yoga pants and tshirts??? When is the appropriate time to wear yoga pants? , how about chinos or jeans with a t-shirt, yoga pants are not flattering anyone!, especially sweaty people.

Wait staff was great, but the place is so busy that the floor was pretty dirty around noon, especially around the bar.
Breakfast burrito was great, but the vegan omelet was a disgrace to the meatless community.
