We have been going to Uchi since the opening week, and the food and service have only improved over time. We get takeout most weeks, and have enjoyed every item we've ordered, from various appetizers (we love the shrimp shumai) to entrees of sushi, ramen, fried rice, etc., to the fried ice cream dessert. Everything is delicious, the staff are friendly and recognize regulars, and we always enjoy ourselves when we eat in.

I’m an avid fan of Uchi. This cozy little spot in historic Dedham Square is a gem. The staff is incredibly welcoming, and the service is quick and attentive. Instead of ordering off the menu, I just say “surprise me”! I let the sushi chef do his magic and I’m never disappointed! Last night, I had some green tea ice cream to finish and it was the perfect end to a perfect meal. The jazz music they play is terrific.

We enjoyed Uchi with its elegant yet warm setting, top-notch cuisine with special touches. Best scallion pancakes ever! Wonderful vegetarian sushi. But most of all, we were taken with the care and thoughtfulness of the staff. Our friend was celebrating his birthday and the host brought over special treats to the table and pulled out her phone so we could sing along to happy birthday music.

This place is amazing! I love ramen and the spicy chicken katsu ramen was to die for. The crab rangoons were perfect. The owner of this place is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met! I will definitely be returning :)
Quite a good selection between ramen and actual sushi. Parking could be hard as it shares street parking but there's a larger public parking lot across the street. It was still pretty full at night when we went there for Saturday evening.

Recommend the sashimi & maki rolls, all the raw fish we had were very fresh. The hamachi kama was also really good.
We had a large group of 15 and they gave us 2 tables near the bar which was perfect. We did 1 table for kids and the other for adults. It was kind of separated from the rest of the dining room, so we felt like we had some privacy which was great.
Parking: 2 hr free street parking and free parking lot available across the street. 2 EV charging spots in the parking lot.

I really can't say enough about this place! We came here for dinner twice within a week after discovering it on a visit home to see family. We ordered the large sushi and sashimi special and everything in it was fresh, cut perfectly and absolutely delicious. The tempura is hot, light and crispy. The drinks can be made with varying degrees of sweetness--try the lychee martini! And they'll even do a sake bomb for you if you ask nicely (my 78 year old mother had never and I couldn't help myself). ?
We brought a large group here one night and they were very accommodating. The service was fantastic. I love eating in a family-owned restaurant, especially when the food is wonderful, and this place fits the bill. Can't wait to go back on my next visit to Dedham.
Vegetarian options: There is a large selection of vegetarian options here that are interesting and unusual. It's not just regular food minus the meat or fish, it's intentionally vegetarian. The sweet potato roll is a delight!
Kid-friendliness: They were super sweet to my 2 year old. There are high chairs and space to roll a stroller in.
Wheelchair accessibility: I rolled in my large stroller with ease, no steps. The bathroom is large and handicap accessible with ease.
