I'd like to be able to give 3.5 because it wasn't a 3 and not quite a 4/5 stars. Overall we were pleasantly surprised by a place with a "teriyaki cream sauce" on pasta with veggies. I had read the owner is from Italy so I wanted to try it. Our young waiter apologized from the get-go that he might be delayed because he was "working take out". We thought we're sunk. BUT the chardonnay was creamy & lovely - nice pour. And out waiter was very attentive, checking in after our dishes came. I only have a picture of our local mushroom appetizer - we were so hungry we didn't get any more. Hubs had crazy Gorgonzola - yum! I had Aglio E Olio and it was ok. Little too much oil and not enough salt. We'll definitely be back

Felt like a very upscale Italian restaurant, but the prices were reasonable. The food was very good and filling! Highly recommended for good food. It gets very crowded so I recommend having a reservation.

Well priced and large portions. Certainly not gourmet or interesting flavors. The decor is old school and doudy.

Made reservations for 545. Arrived early at 5:30. Staff Argued that we had made a reservation for two people I had called 15 minutes prior. I made a reservation for four finally said oh right you’re right here sat us at a table for eight. Service was extremely slow, took us an hour and 20 minutes to receive our meal. We had no bread delivered when everyone around us did we did not complain initially, but when we noticed that the table that came in 15 minutes after us received their full meal and our waiter said oh the kitchen is behind. We realize that he probably never put our order in, our food was OK. It was good I’m not gonna complain about that we asked to speak with the manager we were told the manager was actually the cook, and could not be bothered to come out and see us because he was too busy cooking and serving other customers sorry not a good review from us and we really aren’t high maintenance people That was ridiculous. They didn’t comp us anything they charged us the full price on our entire menu which was for a table of four they should’ve tried to offer some thing they should’ve tried to talk to us. I don’t know people food was OK. It wasn’t amazing would not ever go again and would not recommend it to others .

At 5pm the waitress had to squeeze us in. Nice space a little loud at times. Exquisite food... veal, fish and beef entrees were delicious! Service was excellent in spite of the house being full. We will definitely have to go back!!

Gianni FIg's has a light and friendly atmosphere; a just-right blend of having a private table and also being a part of the scene. The bar is lovely. We had reservations for New Year's Eve and the place was bustling; we only waited a minute or two for our table. The food is very fresh and perfectly cooked. I had scallops with my pasta dish and they were the best that I've had at a restaurant in a very long time (that includes a pricey place at San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf). My companion said that her Seafood Chowder was excellent (as was the Riesling). Before the entre I ordered a Burrata with Fig Jam (I love figs). I shared it with my companion and we both found it to be delicious (I mean, Burrata, Figs... Prosciutto!).Desert (Chocolate tower, and raspberry/lemon tart) were great but the entrees are the main attraction.Gianni Fig's is a wonderful restaurant that is affordable and feels worth the price. Our server was especially fun, in a chill way.Definitely go for great Italian dishes and a friendly and upbeat atmosphere!

Just tried it here for the first time. I think it will be our new regular place! The ambience was warm and cozy and decorated for Christmas. Our waitress was good and checked on us multiple times. It's a small place so reservations are helpful. The food was very good and I haven't seen portions like that in years. We started with the Gorgonzola bread fondue. Wow! The fondue was amazing. They definitely didn't provide enough bread compared to the bowl of fondue and for the price but it was so delicious. A must order!!! I had shrimp scampi with huge shrimp. It was delicious. My husband had the bolognese and he said it was delicious! He also had a yummy espresso martini. Prices were very reasonable. We can't wait to go again!

My girlfriend and I were passing through town on our way back to Hartford and stopped in for dinner. Despite not having reservations and being busy, they were able to seat us immediately. The dining room and bar has a cozy ambience and is tastefully decorated. The wait staff could not have been more friendly and attentive. Most importantly, the food was excellent. I had angel hair pasta with pesto sauce and my girlfriend had baked haddock and mashed potatoes, and both were delicious. The portions were huge, which means we’ll both get a second meal from our leftovers. The salads and Italian bread were also good and fresh, and our cannolis were a tasty dessert. We can’t say enough about this place, and will definitely come back on a future trip.

We are fortunate to have this excellent restaurant in South Deerfield. Food & service are the best. The chef has several delicious sauces. The intimate atmosphere is unhurried dining. Suggest making a reservation. Generous servings reasonably priced. A fine dining experience.

Our meals were excellent, my wife said the Lasagne was one of the best she has had, and she has had it numerous places in Italy! My Gorgonzola pasta with chicken was also excellent. Good selection of reasonably priced, good tasting wines as well. Can’t wait to go back!!
