“Overall it wasn't the worst restaurant we've ever been to but there were a few things today when we had lunch there that could be improved upon The server came over. welcomed us and told us the lunch specials. I asked him what the sides were that came with my special. he recited the sides so I ordered one of the ones he mentioned. my sandwich was good along with the truffle fries My wife ordered the quiche, but it was warm at best and for $17.00 it was small, the salad that came with it was average, nothing special I did order a cup of NE chowder for $9.00, no crackers served with it and had to eat it with a regular teaspoon, no soup spoon. by the time the server came back to ask how is everything most of my wife's warm quiche was eaten so she never was able to send it back to get hot When we received our bill they charged me $ 5.00 for the truffle fries that server said came with it.”

“The owner and the manager and waitresses were very rude very unprofessional.My daughter in-law went there 2 years ago said the service and food was great My son and daughter in-law and I went there on Saturday 11-8-2025 It was about 15 or 20 minutes to order then when we did order we waited over 1hour 15 minutes to eat the food was luke, warm. My daughter in-law bit into a clam strip and thought she broke her tooth she was afraid to eat anymore we had seafood the way it came out the food was saturated from the frying oil like it hadn't been changed in weeks I had coleslaw that had a fish taste to it like it was stored with open fish in the fridge we asked to speak to the manager when she finely came over she wanted the food my daughter in-law spit out in the napkin so obviously. the manager didn't believe her I ask to have her meal comped the manager left never came back I asked to speak to the owner eventually The owner came over was disrespectful rude and very unprofessional, for an owner of a restaurant. first of all, the kitchen was backed up.He should have been in the kitchen helping the cooks second of all he shouldn't have told me to get out of his restaurant the way he did.....”

“I meet my boyfriend here- he just walked in off the street. He doesn’t even live here, he was just driving back to NY from the beach. I was eating bean toast and he walked in and I thought, oh I think my life will change. And it did. Some of it has been difficult (the he doesn’t live here part) but I’m really grateful we meet and I want it to keep going.”

“Hands down, Carefree Cakery make the best cupcakes I’ve ever tasted! We have also ordered a couple of birthday cakes for our kiddos, and they too are spectacular. Not too heavy on frosting, and the cake is light and delicious. Our friends always comment on how delicious the cupcakes/cakes are. This week, we ordered a Wicked theme cake for our daughter’s 10th birthday party and it was so beautiful, I thought my kiddo was going to cry with joy when we picked it up!! We love you guys and we love your cakes ❤️🎂🧁❤️”

“Wow! Loved this place, a historic mill lovingly restored into an amazing restaurant with great cuisine and wonderful service from our server Emily! She was right there when we needed anything and she gave us a taste of the wines we couldn't decide between, which was marvelous. Loved the atmosphere, the bar was gorgeous, the view from our table of the river was great, and we really look forward to coming back for more!”

“This brewery centers around a very nice structure, but the real appeal is sitting outside in suitable weather. The hops fields are amazing and particularly warrant a visit at or near harvest time. The brewery is in a rather remote setting, just this side of the middle of nowhere, and that is part of its attraction. The grounds outside are extensive, down a hill to the edge of one of the hops fields.

There is not an extensive selection of beers on tap, but what they have is certainly good. There is also a limited selection of wines on tap, from a nearby winery, for those who prefer wine over beer. The brewery is now offering a pizza food truck, at least on Friday nights.

My only complaint is that the brewery does not allow dogs, even outside. That is unfortunate, but I understand that the owners have a right to make their own management decisions. Well-behaved dogs and responsible dog owners do not present problems at other breweries and wineries, and maybe it would be worth rethinking this policy. I (sadly) knew in advance and left my dog at home, but when I left I couldn't help but notice somebody else's canine friend cooped up in a vehicle in the parking lot. (At least it was a cool evening.)”

“I HATE when I forget to pack a lunch at work. (Sometimes I do it on purpose) Dangelos always brightens my afternoon! I’ve always worked in the restaurant industry until I got this new job. And now I get severely hangry and I know Dangelos will have me covered. The location is in the worst spot possible, but I will suffer the traffic to have a good sandwich. I went to school with one of the guys that is a higher up and It’s always nice to see him. One day at work I ordered food for delivery and they forgot my “combo up”. He went out of his way to run down the street and bring it to me. FIVE STARS across the board! Thank you friends at Dangelos Greenfield!”
