We were really looking forward to trying this place, but unfortunately, our experience was frustrating from start to finish. We were seated right away, but thatâs where the good service ended. It took 10-15 minutes before anyone came over to take a drink order. Drinks arrived quickly, but then we waited another 15 minutes before a second server, who also appeared to be the bartender, came to set up the tableâonly for us to let him know no one had even taken our food order yet. He looked surprised and returned about 5 minutes later to take it.
We ordered two pizzas and buffalo wings. The server let us know the wings would take 25 minutes since theyâre baked from frozen and said heâd stagger the order with the pizzas. The wings took 37 minutes to come out; my son was now keeping track. And they werenât that great. I get that being baked, they arenât going to be crispy, but the skin was chewy. When they were dropped, the server told us the pizzas would be out shortly after. After we ate the wings, we waited another 30 minutes with no sign of the pizzas. Again, kids were keeping track. At one point, the server came by to take the dirty plates and chicken scraps and he realized we hadnât had our pizzas yet. Meanwhile, tables seated after us were getting their food, and even nearby customers noticed and commented on our wait.
We finally flagged down the first server, who seemed genuinely surprised we hadnât gotten our pizzas yet. The second server returned a few minutes later, apologized, and said the kitchen was busy. My wife said it was all a cover for him forgetting to put our pizza order in. Having worked in restaurants years ago, I agreed. One pizza came out a several minutes later, and the other followed about five minutes after that.
The pizzas were just alright. The cheese was fine, but the Chicken Parm pizza was overcooked - not quite burnt but certainly crispier than the cheese one was. The overall service was extremely disorganized and inattentive. Other tables were being served at a normal pace, so the âbusy kitchenâ excuse didnât really hold up. The server had offered to comp one of the pizzas and when we finally got the check I noticed that we had been charged for a total of 4 extra drinks, including a beer I didnât order. I brought it to the servers attention and gave him the discounted certificates we were using. He went back to adjust the bill. After several minutes, I went up to bar with my card because I just wanted to get out of there after nearly 2 hours. I was told that everything was all set since the bill was less than the certificates after the drink removal. Needless to say, I didnât get a chance to leave a tip because he didnât take my card. On our way out, the first server, who had only taken our drink order and got the other server for us, genuinely apologized for our experience. Needless to say, it was a disappointing experienceâ we wonât be back.

Pizza was cardboard. I don't know how this place has such good reviews. It must be called Knockout Pizza because the pizza is so hard you could knock someone out with it. Pizza was so bland, not enough sauce. Did the white sauce pizza even have white sauce on it? Even the garlic rolls were kind of bland. At least the wings were pretty good.

Solid pizza. I'm not a thin crust guy, but the gf liked it. What I loved was the nice selection of bourbon and full bar. Did not see that coming. I will try more of the menu and resubmit. But all around good place.

We were searching for a good pizza place and happened upon knockout pizza. While pizza is a hit or miss type of food depending on a personâs overall pizza preferences, we were so happy to find that our picky eater children loved the cheese pizza here. We also ate the tomato basil pizza and found that to be delicious. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The table checkers board and connect four games were also a pleasant surprise that we enjoyed. The atmosphere was aesthetically pleasing. We will definitely be visiting knockout pizza again.

This is everything I want a casual pizza place to be. Fun, uber friendly, good food, cozy atmosphere, and a full bar. Not trendy, just real. Would absolutely return if eating in Dennisport again. We had a salad, a white pizza, and tap beer. They do offer slices too just fyi :)

Average pizza. The slice I purchased was very greasy and the ratios were off â a thin stretch with very little sauce, lots of cheese.
There was a really cool atmosphere; I loved seeing the Stanislaus tomato products as decorations on the bar. Their old-school Marsal ovens were really cool too.
Got bumped into by a waitress who posthumously called 'behind'. This is definitely more of a focus on the atmosphere than the quality of pizza and service.
