“I appreciate this no frills breakfast spot. We stay nearby each summer and have stopped in a number of times over the years. Simple menu. Efficient and polite wait staff. Most important, eggs are always cooked properly, to order. Poached, sunny side, or over easy come with a nice runny yolk (unless otherwise specified). Scrambled are not hammered and overdone. This, in my opinion, is the measure of a quality breakfast diner. Tables turnover quick. Easy to slide in and out quickly with a party of two. Expect to wait on busy days for a party bigger than two. I'll keep coming back each summer!“

“Chicken noodle soup was so good I had to grab two pints before coming back to NY and a shirt. The staff is always so nice and welcoming. Met the guy who made the soup, he knew I was traveling with it so he hooked me up with a huge bag of ice and put the bag together. The one lady bagged the noodles separate so they couldn't absorb the soup, really kind thoughtful people.“

“Stumbled upon this place waiting to pick up someone from the transportation center. Great find. Biggest, most delicious iced coffee EVER!! Seriously, coffee is top notch. Eggs were cooked perfectly (and I am picky). My husband was initially skeptical about avocado on a breakfast sandwich but was blown away. Service was attentive and pleasant. Definitely stop by and give it a try.“

“I bet I know what you need. You need a little outing. Yes, you might consider stopping at Jack's Outback. Why? Because it is what makes the day much more pleasant. Jack's is tucked cozily back from the road, you may miss it if you are not careful. Yet, where else are you going to get beautiful surroundings, a lovely pet to greet you, the best breakfast or lunch and waitresses that are so accommodating that you feel welcome as if they were waiting for your arrival. We have enjoyed their company and eats for years: the restaurant is spotless, the meals are excellently prepared and the company is lovely. The owner has adapted to the COVID 19 restrictions far and above what was required. And as the restrictions set in, she became more inventive. Her goal, how to make the journey a pleasant one, though we were all very frightened, I am sure she was to, but she did all she could to protect us and give us a breather if just for a few minutes. The first thing we noticed was the prices. My sausage and cheese omelet with toast and home fries, $11.95. At least 4 dollars more elsewhere. Same with the meals my wife and son ordered. 3 meals, $42.00. Very good service. Very good food. While my wife asked if we had somehow pissed off the older woman who seated us, based on her less than bubbly persona, I simply think that's just her demeanor and did not take it personally.“

“We got there just in the nick of time. It's sooo crowded. But the staff had a system and it went super smooth. We had one of the best waitresses EVER. I doubled her tip. Food was not only AMAZING but the portions were epic we were so full. I wish we lived closer. I want to keep going back over and over but it's 3 hours away.“
