Great American Grill is a cozy restaurant located inside the Hilton Garden Inn. The staff is friendly, and the food selection includes comfort food like brisket and mac & cheese. The Caesar salad with chicken is fresh, and the grilled chicken is a fresh chicken breast. The grilled burgers are great, and there is a great chocolate dessert. The clam chowder may be mediocre, but the fried pickles make for a good appetizer. The atmosphere is clean, and the servings are generous. The menu is somewhat limited, but dishes like sausage gumbo stand out for their excellence. Overall, it is worth the elevator ride if you are staying at the Hilton.
