I've been a patron of 224 Boston Street for close to 25 years now and they have yet to disappoint! The dining room staff is always so warm and welcoming, the kitchen never fails to create delicious meals, and the bar staff outgoing and happy to create bespoke cocktails. And with summer here, the outdoor patio and sidewalk seating are fantastic and provide another perspective to enjoy 224 Boston! Cheers, REA

Great local spot in the city with a cottage feel. Nice outdoor seating and great drinks/food/service.

It's great having this gem in the neighborhood. It's held on to good quality food, beverage and service.

My family and I went on Father's Day. We went right at 5:00 so it was pretty empty. 5 of us all ordered different meals and everyone of them was excellent. 3 out of 5 are pretty particular about our food. 5 out of 5 cleaned our plates. 1 bolognese 2 chicken piccata 3 short ribs with mashed potatoes 4 shoe ribs with Mac and cheese 5 haddock special Then for dessert crem brûlée and chocolate brownie with ice cream. Cleaned the plates. Will definitely go back!!!

A hidden gem in the Neighborhood. We walked 8min from our Hotel (Home2Suites) and found this unique Restaurant. Great Service and excellent food:)

Pesto Brussels sprouts were delicious. Got an annoying side eye when asked to split the check, but otherwise service was good.

It's a nice neighborhood joint. I had not been in a while and wanted to check out the restaurant again. The kitchen and the wait staff dropped the ball. Our salmon and chicken dishes were overcooked. The meat was DRY. We ordered a salad that came out about three minutes before the entree, which wasn't what we wanted and essentially just paid to take a salad home. Three people with a tip - three drinks, one app, one salad, three entrees - was about $210. For that money, I expect better food and service.

Had the chicken piccata. The chicken was thicker than what is usually served at other restaurants; so the sauce which was really delicious didn't get absorbed into the chicken. The portions were generous and staff very friendly.

Great food - bad service. Have dinned in the past with great service, not sure what was going on that night.

This restaurant is an absolute gem. Everything was amazing. We had great service and terrific recommendations for dinner from them. The bone in pork chop was delicious and so much food I took half home. 100% recommend going there and we can't wait to go back.

Food was excellent, service was perfect. Made to feel welcome and service was prompt without being rushed. Still a gem!

224 Boston Street never disappoints. It is a gem of a neighborhood staple with good, simple food prepared with care and generosity. The ambiance is a little less vibrant than it used to be with bijou mismatched plates and staid art on the walls, but the menu is still chock full of some of the staples that regulars have enjoyed over the years. My only and biggest wish is that they would bring back their excellent hot fudge sundae and have some more compelling dessert alternatives. I often take out of towners there so that they can see there is nice food to be had outside of the establishments that get more of the hype and buzz.

We always have a great meal at 224! When we first arrived, the hostess was very helpful and accommodating as we looked for just the right table! And our server for the evening, Zada, was great - professional, competent, personable, and with a great sense of humor! We sat outside and it was a wonderful evening

Food was excellent--my husband's bone-in pork chop with scalloped potatoes and my salmon with shrimp risotto. Cocktails were great as well. Our only concern was the "stickiness" of the wooden table--not because it wasn't clean (as we requested a doomer when we sat down)--but because the table is in need of new shellacking. That would make cleaning more efficient and make the surface smooth and even. Again, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

I've never written a negative review for a restaurant but the food and drinks were very dissapointing. Steak was very undercooked and after being re-fired, came back without the sauce and cold fries. Server responded as if this is a common occurrence. Scampi had some shrimp with tails and some without all buried in the pasta and a mix of cut up and whole tomatoes. Was very excited to try this place and disappointed in the end.
