Heard good things about this place.Kinda disappointing on several fronts.1) Nickel and diming on the menu and drink choices…. Asked for Bourbon and Cointreau cocktail and got charged for Cointreau2) Waiter told us he was gonna bring us extra warm bread to dip into our apps….. oh and he charges us without even the slightest mention…. It’s not the small upcharge, but it’s the fact that he never told us…. It was just added to our bill.3) Wanted fresh pasta….. the freshly made Tagliatelle meal sounded great….. but what we got was neither fresh, nor was it tagliatelle…. It was literally egg noodles washed in sauce.Because I was with a large group, I didn’t speak to the waiter. Everyone around us were eating pizzas….. that should have been a major clue….. I’ll give Tavolo a second try but will stick to the “Can’t screw up” pizza and cold beer options. Major corrections needed before anything more than 2 stars is deserved.I don’t recommend this place at all.Spend your money wisely elsewhere.

I had ravioli child had pizza. I ordered for delivery. The price is totally not worth it. For a $23 dollar plate of spinach ravioli I was sent 4 raviolis. At least for a can chef boyardee of ravioli you get more than that. It was like they made up a meal. Whatever that sweet purple stuff and brown sauce was in it wasn’t it. Nasty!! I tried my child’s pizza since I trashed my plate. Wanted to try a new place to eat couldn’t use water at the house. Pizza had a weird twang taste, presentation of it was awful. I wouldn’t go here again.

I always order take out from Tavalo when I'm craving authentic spaghetti and meatballs. I always get another entree to have for lunch the next day too which is a plus. The food and the courtesy of the staff are 5 stars. The quality of the food and the amount is also 5 stars. I highly recommend a visit. The atmosphere when I pick up is very welcoming, dim lit and relaxing.

Saturday night and there is only one server for the entire dining room. He is doing everything he can but I’m trying to spend money but he can’t take peoples orders fast enough. Food was nicely prepared but lacking seasoning. No menus means slower ordering and a loss of a star for being too casual for a “romantic” restaurant according to search filters. I really wanted to like this place.

sean served us the first time and he was incredible new year’s eve!! we went back and again different server but truly incredible service, general manager is amazing as well definitely a restaurant we’re they respect there staff and the guests. 100% coming again and recommend to everyone!! food was unbelievable!!!

Everything was great food and drinks till I walked out and stepped Into a big pile of dog mess outside their door of business...That ruined the whole experience for me and put me in a horrible mood for the rest of the night.

I'm GF and this was a great place to eat. Had the Calabrian chili chicken appetizer and it was excellent. Had Cacio e Pepe for the main course and my date had the steak. Both were cooked to perfection. GF options abound. Service was excellent and responsive. It's an open dining room so a bit noisy, but nothing too distracting. If they had GF bread options, I would make this a regular stop.

We had such an incredible visit. The Sunday special (3 courses with a glass of wine for $30) was fantastic. Our server Sean was so knowledgeable and attentive, making sure each course came out as we wanted! A truly great experience. Can’t wait to come back.
